It's that time of year again when our favourite games are pitted against each other in a bitter struggle for gamers' love, admiration and little golden trophies. Yep, the voting for the 27th Golden Joystick awards is open. With the shortlists just announced, you've now got the chance to have your say on what games should be grabbing the gongs.

Think Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars should steal the award for Best Handheld Game of the Year from LocoRoco 2? Should World at War storm to the trophy of Best Online Game ahead of Left4Dead?
