GamerBlipsThe first proper expansion pack for Xbox 360 and PC enormo-adventure The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has finally been revealed as Shivering Isles.
The 30-hour campaign is set on an entirely new continent, featuring such tourist landmarks as The Hill of Suicides and The Lightning Coast, and sees you take on a fresh bestiary of hostile creatures and a series of freeform quests.
The main bulk of Shivering Isles ' gameplay will be concerned with a set of trials. These challenges are tasked to you by Sheogorath, the god of madness, who some adventurers may remember from his previous lark in Oblivion 's main quest - when he dumped a flaming deluge of dead dogs on the heads of an entire village of cat people. So we know he's got a sense of humour.
For a glimpse of Shivering Isles, be sure to pick up the latest copy of PC Zone (assuming you have access to a store that sells European game mags), which contains within its pages the first ever images of this increasingly intriguing add-on adventure. Or just keep your eyes glued to GamesRadar, where we'll watch the game with eagle eyes. There's currently no release date confirmed but we're expecting Shivering Isles to open for business across PC, 360, PS3 sometime before the summer.
