Epic on Wii: "nobody turns it on"

Mike Capps, the president of Epic Games, has lashed out at the Wii, claiming it's "like a wired virus."

"It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, 'Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it,"he told IGN.

"So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on."

That will change, Mike. There's less than a week to go until Mario Kart comes out in your corner of the world. If we don't see you (in our rear view, obviously) online after April 27, May 27 or even December 27, we'll be extremely disappointed.

Elsewhere in the interview, Capps shoots down the possibility that Epic Games will ever work on the console, claiming "No, we go forward, not back."
