    I'd agree with you if a vast majority of the recent games weren't excellent. Galaxy 2 is THE best platformer I've ever played. The Mario and Luigi RPG series is consistently brilliant. Mario Kart is just... well, Mario Kart - nigh on multiplayer racing perfection (fuck you, Blue Shell). So, if Mario WiiU is anywhere near the quality of his Wii outings then... bring it on.

    not buying this come up with something more original than nonsensical settings of 'murican soldiers shooting shit around the world in all set-ups imaginable kooladooty franchise is the biggest cookie-cutter formula for raking in cash this entire generation all these developers do is take real-life objects take pictures from all angles then cram it into the game as they lead you by stupid plot-thread of set-piece russians, warheads, terrorists to justify a slightly different environment. it's even pretending to be realistic rather than just a fanboy homage to the USA army-lifestyle i have more respect for devs who actually create worlds

    Surely there is a way of presenting articles like this without having to click through a hundred times! Couldn't you have ten to a page or something, or at least give the option to view them all as one long blog-style post? I bet you pages at the end get far less hits than ones at the beginning! The number of people with internet so slow it can't handle a page of small images and text is so small as to be irrelevant!

    --if metroid 2 had of been developed on nes or snes --it most likely would of stole A LOT of super metroids thunder --metroid 1 was one hell of a game(it was massive, it had saves,its scrolled 2 ways, the basic metroid platform design was already there) --and it was a 1986 release(that was EARLY nes stuff) --all the potential for metroid 2 to be near as good as super metroid was available --but nintendo made a mistake putting metroid 2 on gameboy --or did they? --like i said metroid 2 on home console would of stole A LOT of super metroid's thunder --it would of split the excellence between the 2 --making 2 really great games --but not leaving 1 "best game of all time" contender --metroid1 always was one of the greatest games on nes --it just came out too early(it didnt hold up) --metroid 2 had a chance to be one of the greatest nintendo games --it was just developed for a weak system(squashing its potential) --nintendo finally got the formula right with super metroid
