Weekend Spent: Nov. 3-4 - How are you spending the weekend?

David: Once again, my weekend is going to be consumed by the meta-game of emotional wrangling that I’ve discovered is unlocked when you link up XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Dishonored . I really should get back into the creative paranormal sandbox murdering of the deceitful and unjust. I want to. I keep really, really intending to. I love creative paranormal sandbox murdering so much that Dishonored is categorically one of my two Games of the Year thus far. But XCOM is a compulsively absorbing mistress. In fact four times this week I’ve found myself playing it without even realising I’d switch my PS3 on. I really don’t know how this is going to pan out. But I’m going to try to play Dishonored. Wish me luck.

Justin: I’ve got so many games screaming for my time, but I think Borderlands 2 is still going to win out. I’ve bought the DLC pass, though I’ve promised myself I won’t load it up until I’ve hit level 50 in the main game. Currently on 43. Great game, especially in co-op.

Ryan: I had been planning on a nice weekend away with my lady friend--but now she's going to visit her family, so that means I've got a date with Assassin's Creed III. Hell, maybe I'll even light up some candles and cook myself a fancy steak dinner. Yeah. I think I'll do that.

Brian: After putting it off all week, I need to pick up a copy of Assassin's Creed III this weekend. Unlike Ryan and his fancy steak dinner, my meal will consist of Doritos and Mountain Dew.

Sophia: In the spirit of Halloween, I’ve been playing some Left 4 Dead 2. Ok, so that $5 Steam sale had something to do with that. But it’s been fun! And much more fun when I play with actual people. I think I’m going to revisit Dishonored and try to get through at least one mission without slaughtering everyone.

Lorenzo: Who isn't going to be playing Assassin's Creed III this weekend? I know I am. I picked up my copy earlier this week and I can't wait to really dig in and spend some quality time with the game. Aside from that, I'll also be jumping into Skylanders Giants for review, so keep an eye out for that soon.

Henry: This will be another weekend balancing work and personal games. Like most of the folks on here I’m going to dive as deep into Assassin’s Creed III as I can, but I’ve got a review to finish too. I’ll be enjoying Paper Mario: Sticker Star--look for the review early next week. Hopefully I can get both those taken care of so I can start enjoying Halo 4 on Tuesday.

Cooper: This is the first weekend in a while that I’m not grinding through a review game, so I’m planning on taking it easy. I might spend some time running (heh) through Assassin’s Creed III’s multiplayer, though, finally getting some time with Wolf Pack. Anyone down to play?
