Watch Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered in action
The first extended gameplay video for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is here, and it looks like a mighty slick version of the old "Crew Expendable" mission. Get it, slick? Because of all the rain and sea spray? I'll be quiet while you watch the video, sorry.
For comparison purposes, here's the same mission in the original game. I didn't really appreciate the new lighting and animations until I saw them back to back. Check out how much crummier the water looks when the ship starts sinking, too.
On top of the full single-player campaign, Modern Warfare Remastered will also include a 10-map, updated version of the original game's multiplayer. And after all that excitement, here's your glum reminder that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will still only be available as part of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's special editions, starting with the $79.99/£79.99 Legacy Edition. You can pick up the whole kit starting on November 4.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
