Trials Evolution gameplay demo - crashing through one checkpoint at a time

Trials HD was one of the most addictive Xbox Live Arcade titles when it was released almost three years ago. It was certainly not perfect, and it had a lot of frustrating moments, but part of the appeal was that you got just a little bit better with each try. Just a little. Trials Evolution takes that formula a step further by bringing in four-player multiplayer and larger outdoor levels. While we still can't show you all the details of that yet, we did get the try out the first few levels on the latest preview build. Have a look...

Stay tuned for our full review when Trials Evolution comes out on April 18, exclusively on Xbox Live Arcade.

So no body is going to comment on the ridiculously long load times and the textures popping in and out?

If you were listening to the commentary you would've heard that this isn't the finished version of the game, they explained the texture popping in and out in the video.

I get that Trials is a really tough game, but seriously! Why are all games journalists so terrifyingly bad at games!?
  • RonsonPL - March 30, 2012 3:45 a.m.

WTF? Seriously? Why is SHE playing? This gameplay video is worthless when the one holding the controller is playing Trials for the first time. What a waste of reader's time. Gamesradar failed publishing this video even more than she failed steering. I recommend GR to everyone, as my favourite game site, but more stuff like this and I will be forced to apologise for doing so. :(

O mighty RonsonPL, lord and ruler of TrialsHD, please forgive these people. We lesser folk do not possess the same biblical talents that you have. How dare someone take the time to create a video illustrating the gameplay and not be at the same level as your highness. I apologise for this heinous insult upon your person. But seriously, fuck you, you ungrateful shit. But yeah, this video got me even more hyped for this game, so thank you for that Gamesradar.

Read my comment again or ask someone to explain what is written there. This time try to use your brain. If you'll succeed, then you'll find it's a comment about the video not about player skills. Everyone plays like that when it's his/hers first attempt, no big deal. It just doesn't show gameplay. It shows lame fails. A fail after a fail. I know - it's a women, so it was pleasant for the guy talking with her to speak to her. But the video is called "gameplay", not "Chitchat with some girl trying to play some game". It's annoying to watch this, and many people will watch this, since the hype for Trials Evo is great. They'll click... and waste their time. And let me help your brain clear this out: - I also cannot wait for this game, since Trials HD was amazing. - I have no pro skills in this game and have no problem watching such "fail after fail" when I pass the joypad to one of my friends. If you still don't see what was I writing above, then consult your neurologist. It might be something serious. Or not, cause judging by the level of your text (f.. and s.. words for no reason) you just might be retarded.

You're welcome! We had fun playing even though we all suck at Trials equally!

It's been a long time since I bought an XBLA game, there seems to have been a long space between actual decent games worth the asking price on there. Trials though will have my money on day one, and if it does come out for 1200 points it will feel like a steal. I think Trials (and possibly Pinball FX2) are the only games I've ever cared about trying to beat my friends scores on, adding another layer of addictiveness to a game that already acts like gaming crack. Can't wait!

Hey maybe they should do a level based on Auschwitz and have you ride on piles of dead bodies!

This game can't come out any sooner! I'm running out of levels to get Platinum on in Trials: HD! D:

Trials HD was, I'm sure everyone will agree, addictive. I have high hopes for this game even though I have never beaten Trials HD and I don't expect to any time soon. Judging from this game though I might have to hassle my friends into buying it as well just so I can play with them xD
