Toy Story 3 game trailer is f***ing adorable

I don’t care what anybody else says – the last Toy Story game kicked ass! Pardon my nostalgia, but if Buzz and Woody are good enough to be on my bed sheets, they’re good enough for your consoles. Even if you didn’t like any of those previous Pixar film-to-game adaptations, you should probably know that Toy Story 3 is the first one to get star treatment from Disney’s promising internal studio. The trailer below certainly put a smile on my face:

Charming, colorful platforming was a safe bet, but what you may not have anticipated is the gigantic Toy Box mode, which'll allow you to make your very own playable sandbox using the scale and style of what could be the finest animated film series of our generation. But for nerds like me, look closely during the trailer and you might find some unfamiliar faces set to be introduced in the upcoming film. Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear? Ken? Mr. Pricklepants?! Yes, I’m that big a nerd.

This seems like it could be a fully 3D LBP, which would be nothing short of awesome. I'm surprised how nice it looks.

@PhantomDave: Think of how many in-jokes and pop culture references there are in Toy Story (and most Pixar movies, for that matter) that would fly over children's heads. This is as much a kid's game as the flicks were kid's movies.

I loved Toy Story 2 on the PS1 and Disney are trying to make good games so I will be happy to admit it if this is a good game but I won't buy it.

That's a strangely deep game for a little kid. Did they really think a little kid would be able to manipulate the whole stage creator or this thing trying to gear itself to us?
