It wouldn't be an E3 without an awkward moment or two.

Jamie Kennedy - "Comedian" Whoever thought to put quotes around his title deserves a handshake.

Konami's entire 2010 conference in general is number 1. Everything about it was just hilariously awkward. The Silent Hill Staring,The guy describing omedius Excellent looked like he didnt even see the game before they showed it, the wrestlers, the entire thing was just GLORIOUS

I still think Wii Music tops even the infamous Mr. Cafeine and "WooooooooW" Japanese man. Those two are pretty embarrassing for sure, but they didn't carry the sort of expectation that a Nintendo reveal (led by Shigeru Miyamoto no less) does. And it's not just that the reveal of Wii Music itself was utterly embarrassing, it was just a slap in the face for everyone involved, journalists, gamers, everyone. The rest were eye rolling moments for sure, but Wii Music probably caused actual physical pain to many. Also, heh, oh ubisoft, how terrible you are at choosing your hosts XD had there not been so many other embarrassing displays out there, I'm pretty sure that annoying nerd from last year's conference would have also made the cut.

Ironically, Ubisoft's conference last year is considered by some the better out of everything else including the Big 3
  • BladedFalcon - June 3, 2013 1:09 p.m.

Well yes, the presentation overall was far the bets, because content-wise was leagues above and beyond what anyone else had shown, including the reveal of watchdogs, which the first, palpable first look at what a next gen game could look like. So that just speaks of how weak the content from everyone was, really. And I mean, presentation-wise, the actress, Aisha I think it was called? did a pretty decent enough job, so it wasn't like insufferable as the last two years, but man... that damn annoying "nerd" was pretty fucking obnoxious.

I'm just wondering why Wii Music was a thing when Rock Band and Guitar Hero were still doing their stuff.
  • BladedFalcon - June 3, 2013 3:42 p.m.

I suspect it was created mainly as a VERY misguided attempt from Nintendo to try and create their "own Rock Band" And maybe bank it's appeal to kids. Of course, that's insulting because not even little children are THAT stupid, and man do kids fall for so much crappy shit.

Wow. Now for 2013's most awkward moment at E3
