I'm honestly surprised there wasn't a Solid Snake reference in this. Maybe even a little disappointed.

Yeah, actually there was, in the Super Mario 3D Land description. Maybe if you didn't avoid the Nintendo games you might have noticed that.

That's like one sentence about one of the most iconic boxes in gaming. Hardly fitting is it

Considering the article it's limited to games released in 2011, (And there were zero new MGS games released this year.)be thankful it got mentioned at all. If this was an article about the greatest boxes of all time, I'd agree with you, and even expect it to be number 1 spot. But it's not, it's just 2011, so your whining is kinda out of place.

Albeit, if you loosen then criteria for new MGS games, there was. The MGS HD Collection was released in Japan and the US this year, ergo, there was a release at least, although whether it's really new it's debatable. Still, at least it's a high definition re-release of the most iconic box in the whole gaming universe. :D

It's a re-release of 3 games that came out years ago, not in 2011, hence why I clearly clarified "new" MGS games, instead of just saying any MGS games. And it's not even a visual remake as say, Ocarina of Time for the 3DS was. So honestly, I don't think it really counts.
