Metal gear solid rising!! Not the arcadey hack and slash that I can play via dozens of other games -the 3rd person military shooter where you play as a superninja and can cut through any object in real time physics!!! -And that doesn't have the worst subtitle ever attached to anything.

    They cancelled that?!
  • FOZ - April 30, 2012 11:50 a.m.

That game never existed. All they had was a tech demo of Raiden cutting watermelons.
  • BladedFalcon - April 30, 2012 11:51 a.m.

Except that was never a game, it was a tech demo.
  • Zeos - April 30, 2012 11:23 a.m.

    Mega Man Legends 3.....*sob*
  • deadbrownrabbit - April 30, 2012 11:19 a.m.

what's that last picture of? I know it's thor and a skrull, but is it from some cancelled game or something?
  • RedHarlow - April 30, 2012 11:36 a.m.

A few months ago some test video surfaced of a first-person Avengers game. It looked pretty cool, actually.

pleased to know that star wars battlefront III made the list, and also the fact that kingdom hearts III got a little mention in there too. :3
  • Sjoeki - April 30, 2012 11:16 a.m.

Don't know if there are many others out there but I would have liked a sequel to heavenly sword, but I heard that was cancelled.
  • RedHarlow - April 30, 2012 11:15 a.m.

If you did about two minutes of research, you can find that STALKER 2 was cancelled because they could not acquire the rights to STALKER from the IP holder. They had plenty of money and investors, it was just a rights issue that got it cancelled.
  • Net_Bastard - April 30, 2012 11:13 a.m.

Actually, apparently Star Wars Battlefront 3 game files were found in the PC version of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. So basically, Battlefront 3 got canned for a game that GR gave a 3/10 to.

Wait.... I'm not sure if you're trolling, serious, or just plain retarded. I'm going to need a source on that one.
  • ultimatepunchrod - April 30, 2012 11:30 a.m.

I don't have a source, but I heard the same thing.
  • archnite - April 30, 2012 11:38 a.m.

That's not what that means at all. Capcom has the ability to make more than one game at once. They didn't have B3 ready to ship and then decide to make REORC and throw it out.
  • gopikmin - April 30, 2012 2:09 p.m.

that doesn't even make sense. How did Capcom, a Japanese company, get its hands on IPs from EA,a greedy western company. Also has any star wars game been produced by a Japanese company.

Timesplitters 4. I love that series so much and I would have loved to play some batshit crazy heat seeking launcher matches.
  • GhostbustTyler - April 30, 2012 11:12 a.m.

*loved to play some batshit crazy head seeking launcher deathmatches online.

    Except that's still happening.
  • slimjim441 - April 30, 2012 11:38 a.m.

Lol, no it's not. Revengeance is happening, not MGS: Rising.
