Toon Link breaks in - Super Smash Bros. Wii U Weekly

Alright, we'll admit it--we were wrong. We said that Toon Link wouldn't be in Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and 3DS, and BAM--here he is. Ready to roll. Ready to fight. We claimed to know what was what, and we were super incorrect. We've made a video about the new character, and it's right below. Welcome. Toon Link; we're sorry.

Super Smash Bros. Wii U Weekly is GamesRadar's weekly Super Smash Bros. Wii U show. Yeah, we bet you figured that out already. Come back every Wednesday for the latest news, analysis, and speculation about the upcoming brawler. You can get caught up on past episodes on the

I lost it when ROB pronounced Wii U
  • codystovall - September 27, 2013 3:01 p.m.

I would prefer you ROB over Toon Link, hopefully your in it or I will be pissed that Toon Link pushed you out.
  • Shinn - September 27, 2013 7:28 a.m.

Ok so that was amazing. More Robot!
  • supaMcnugget - September 27, 2013 5:29 a.m.

I was shocked to discover that Toon Link is now a character because Gamesradar, IGN, and others were so adamant about him not returning. Anyways, nice job ROB. That screenshot of the day song was.......LOL

  • JarkayColt - September 27, 2013 3:15 a.m.

I had to watch this twice to make sure it was real. So hilariously oddball. XD Can R.O.B. hijack the show on a permanent basis? Just kidding!
  • RODTheMaster - September 26, 2013 10:38 p.m.

That was the greatest thing I've ever seen!
  • Swedish_Chef - September 26, 2013 9:35 p.m.

Well that escalated quickly... Now Nintendo, bring us Wind Waker Ganon with his own moveset.
  • GOD - September 26, 2013 9:29 p.m.

WTF did I just watch? ._. This just brings back joyous memories of being in a class of students in middle school where we are abusing the text reader on the computers. Also not only did you replace Ryan's music but the way you edited it to sound like it was singing was hilarious. Also: *Sees Toon Link announcement.... takes a victory lap*
  • ncurry2 - September 26, 2013 9:07 p.m.

I mean really, with Wind Waker HD and the new toon link 3DS game coming out this year, how could you not expect him to be included in smash? But good episode, although it could have used 100% more floating people.
  • megamanandkirby64 - September 26, 2013 10:13 p.m.

Because......Toon Link has nothing to do with that 3DS game. Not only is there the whole multiple Links thing, but you can tell just by looking at him it's a different one.
  • shawksta - September 26, 2013 7:07 p.m.

WOW Okay, that was, bizzare, yet AWESOME You even replaced RYAN'S SCREENSHOT OF THE WEEK MUSIC XD
  • g1rldraco7 - September 26, 2013 7:01 p.m.

Caption " Song of the Dead was played, but nothing happened" See this is why we can't trust robots and go f yourself ROB!!!! No one likes killer robots!!!
  • megamanandkirby64 - September 26, 2013 6:55 p.m.

See, I told you that stage meant nothing.
  • Cyberninja - September 26, 2013 6:29 p.m.

    That last line was perfect
  • TokenGamesRadarFurry - September 26, 2013 5:29 p.m.

God damn, the GR YouTube channel is really hitting its stride. This was fucking hilarious.
  • J-Fid - September 26, 2013 5:19 p.m.

So R.O.B., when are you going to be announced for the next Smash Bros? BTW, please forgive me for also being wrong about Toon Link.
  • GR_RyanTaljonick - September 26, 2013 4:52 p.m.

Hoooooly hell I just chocked on my tongue from laughing.
