Three more New Vegas DLC add-ons coming, Dead Money getting PC and PS3 releases

Bethesda announced today that not only are three more Fallout: New Vegas DLC packs on the way for all platforms, the game's first expansion, Dead Money, will be released for PS3 and PC this month.

Dead Money debuted in December as a 360 exclusive, and sent players on a treasure hunt in the Sierra Madre Casino. Based on the screen above, that treasure may have been the secret to the perfect snarl. The PS3 and PC versions of the download will be available on February 22, and all future DLC will launch simultaneously on all platforms.

Though Bethesda hasn't revealed any specifics about the three upcoming add-ons, we may know their names - the company recently applied for trademarks to the phrases "Honest Hearts," "Lonesome Road," and "Old World Blues."

Bethesda and Obsidian sure are dedicated to keeping New Vegas bustling. What do you think? Are you tired of the desert wasteland, or are you amped for three more dusty, crusty mutant installments?

I won't be touching the new DLC until there's a GOTY for me to buy with everything on it. I haven't bought Fallout NewVegas yet, just cuz I want the GOTY

I love Fallout, Can't wait for the DLC's to come out! I hope they bring that other Courier into the story, And make a DLC Like Broken Steel, Where you can continue the game after the battle of Hoover Dam. ReCaptcha:yourom potential... Should I be offended by this?

A little too late for Bethesda and Obsidian. I'd only purchase it as a pre-owned game. I know how important PS3 owners are from the Fallout 3. Aside from getting them a year later after release, the design, not surprising, suck. Based on this Fallout, it's the same.

So I'll wait another year for the Fallout New Vegas GOTY collection, which I'm sure will be $60 and include all DLC for the game (with hopefully more bugs fixed).

Egg.. I'd rather see a patch to fix the game. It crashes every time there are more than 10 rnemies or I use the incinerator

I'll have to read the reviews before I decide. The only Fallout 3 DLC I got was Broken Steel, because the others just didn't seem that interesting. If New Vegas has any DLC on that scale, I'll definitely consider it.

r they gonna raise the level cap again, cos i've got dead money, completed it and reached level 35, and the fallout dlc's have a bad habit of confiscating all of your items until you have completed the main questline

I called this a long time ago, not just that we'd see Dead Money on the PC and PS3, but that more DLC would be inevitable... I'll just wait for the announcement of a 'Game of the Year' edition which will come out late autumn 2011, then my Fallout prediction will be complete.

I'm really excited for new DLC I still play Fallout: NV on a regular basis. I didn't really care for dead money though but Fallout games usually pick up after there first add-on anyway. Oh, and I think the old world blues is going to be about the big empty that they talked about in Dead Money.

I will probably wait until they are all released and buy them all in a bundle or something, then OD on them.

To be completely honest, I got the Platinum Trophy for New Vegas 2 days before Black Ops came out and haven't played it once since. I think part of that was I got a little burned out on it from Fallout 3 and it just wasn't enough new things to keep me interested. Plus those invisible walls got extremely annoying. Will I buy these DLC's? Probably, but there's a high enough chance that I might not for it to be a possibility.

Interesting titles, as Pocotron mentioned, there is a rumor that the final DLC, and the reason *SPOILERS* you don't die but disappear at the end is because you go to The Great Divide (grand canyon) and fight with Ulysses, the courier who denied the Platinum Chip job and instead gave it to you*/SPOILERS* The DLC is supposed to build that story up to its climax

Good that they're releasing them simultaneously now. Exclusive DLC is silly.

I'm excited for this, but I have a history of completely failing at finishing Fallout DLC's :/
  • Zeb364 - February 5, 2011 1:53 a.m.

    Awesome, can't wait.
  • Pocotron - February 5, 2011 1:24 a.m.

I've heard the last DLC pits you up against the other Courier: Ulysses. The secret is in the graffiti...
  • KingQuestion - February 5, 2011 12:37 a.m.

    YES YES YESSSSSSSSS
  • AlmightyFuzz - February 5, 2011 12:09 a.m.

After what they teased at the end of Dead Money, I NEED the new DLC now! I really want to know about the other courier, as well as the big battle they foretell.
