Prep for Dark Souls 2 with these must-know tips - Dark Souls 2 Weekly

We're less than a week away from the launch of one of 2014's most anticipated games, Dark Souls 2. New to the 'Souls franchise? We recently posted an article about what makes that series so special (hint: it's not because it's hard), which will hopefully give you a good idea of what to expect. So, too, will this week's episode of Dark Souls 2 Weekly, in which Ryan and Lorenzo talk about some minor but significant changes to the inner workings of this upcoming sequel.

    That intro is fucking retarded

For me, it has to be the Cristal Ring Shield that you get by using the soul of the moonlight Butterfly. Yes, it's a shield, but it's one that has a special attack: Basically it lets you throw it as a projectile that has awesome range and does obscene amounts of damage, basically making it a tool to safely destroy anything you didn't want to get close to. Needless to say, soon after the game came out, the game was patched and the power of this attack was nerfed considerably, but that goes to show how ridiculously OP it was.

Sorry for being off-topic (again), but I was wondering if GamesRadar will be reviewing BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma

Lorenzo forgot to circle strafe against Ryan. QOTW: Didn't play Dark, but in Demons' Souls I really loved my Dragon's Sword +5. Great damage plus everything burns.
