Telltale's Jurrasic Park coming in April, first screenshots and trailer inside

Telltale's Heavy Rain-style Jurassic Park adventure will make its debut on the PC and Mac this April. Set during the same time period as the first Jurassic Park movie, the game will follow the story of Dr. Gerry Harding and his daughter Jess. While no celebrities from the film have been confirmed as voice actors, there will be moments where the game's story ties in with events and memorable locations in the movie. Check out the debut trailer and first screenshots below.

Wanting! Jurassic Park is one of the most consistently entertaining movies

Yeah the T-rex rawr was...weird. Like some siren or alarm...other than that it looks great, looking forward.

@Ampatent That's exactly what I was thinking. Velociraptors were smaller than they were in the movies too (movie ones were based on Utahraptors I think) but there's nothing tense about a jungle full of knee high drag-queen lizards.

Ampatent, If you remember, they tacked on some feathers in Jurassic Park III because more research had been done in the last decade. It's fine if they want to make the dinosaurs more scientifically accurate, but when it destroys continuity in the franchise, it gets a bit irritating. If they updated it with full authenticity, the raptors would be about three feet tall, silent, and not that scary. And hey, since when does Jurassic Park have to be realistic, anyway? It's TOTALLY AWESOME how it is!

In all honesty, it looks like crap. I'm not going to spend $40 on a story based game if the plot is piggybacking, the voice acting is phoned in and the graphics suck. I'll save for LA Noire instead

I like how they just decided to tell science to fuck off with the design of the dinosaurs. Sure it might be canonically accurate, but scientifically... there should be more feathers.

IS it just me, or do the dinosaur noises in the trailer seem off?
  • Clovin64 - February 18, 2011 8:43 p.m.

The protagonist has a daughter? Press X to Jess? Does she munched by a T-Rex at the start of the game?
  • Sy87 - February 18, 2011 8:42 p.m.
