i dont think clicker is the zombie type bad guys, i think it's refereeing to "Tourist's"(what the bad guys in that city call people they rob and kill as they pass through there town) who are out of ammo. when the bad guy hears the click of the gun he says "i know that sound." so i think a clicker will most likly be a "tourist" who has no ammo and just pretends his gun is full till.....click.then they prolly get shot in the face.

Really impressed by how this looked. And I am really loving how it has non regenerating health bar, and supplies and bullets are limited, yet the action is fast and pretty frigging brutal. I was expecting this game to be good, but I admit I cynically expected it to be more like uncharted, I'm so glad to see I was wrong.

Holy damn I can't wait for this game now. I was excited about it before, sure, but seeing it in motion...this game is likely going to be GOTY 2013 (unless ND surprises with a 2012 date) and it looks like it'll be way more deserving of that title than any Uncharted game.

Well, given what little info I was able to find on the game I have to say I'm still on the fence about it at the moment. I notice that there's a lot of talk about the game trying to raise the bar for story telling within the industry. But I remember the last game to make that claim was heavy rain, and that didn't turn out as well as everybody would have liked.
Still, Naughty dog has a good track record for this kind of thing, so I'm not entirely against it yet. I do get the feeling that if it fails to live up to expectations, it's going to fail in a big way.

As much as I would LOVE to have a game do it, I doubt this will have dynamic character transformation of Ellie through gameplay. At least not in a complex sense. Maybe as a Kid, neutral, and Killer slide bar.
I dont question that Naughty Dog is capable, its just that they have so much on their plate. Even if they were planning this as a central feature, it might get cut in favor of fleshing out the rest of the game.

I was wondering though if they would reference the Uncharted world. Hints of the plague appear in Uncharted 3. Could The Last of Us take place in the same world ? Drake has been saving the world from weird terrible fates since the first story. What if he failed ?
Could Joel be Nathan Drake himself (as you pointed out before), plagued by the guilt of having failed to save the world ? Would Ellie be the daughter he didn't know he had with Ellena (Indiana Jones style) ?
I don't know if I would like any of that, though. But it seems to me they could go that way.
