SSX 2012 prepares to get tricky with retro DLC

Electronic Arts has announced that the next DLC pack for this year's SSX reboot will revisit some of the series' formative moments with a Tricky-inspired mountain, reborn classic characters and music tracks. The Mount Eddie pack thankfully isn't what it sounds like, presumably because David Arquette don't do hardcore; but what it is is a new mountain designed as a throwback to the series' standout title, SSX Tricky.

Mt. Eddie will come bundled with music tracks from and inspired by SSX's early entries, and will be available come May 1 alongside the Classic Characters pack – which bundles together seven SSX 3/Tricky characters, each with a custom board. The DLC items will set you back $5.99 apiece or you can get both for $7.99. Xbox 360 prices haven't been announced by EA, but expect prices around the usual 480/640 MSP mark.
