    The title is kind of misleading. He's more using that as a reference point than hinting at it. I would gladly have them do a New Super Mario Bros. type of thing for the handheld Zelda things (except, you know, not relying so heavily on its predecessors). The DS Zeldas were awful compared to the rest of the series.

    Nintendo do that more than anyone. Look at Galaxy, look at Skyward Sword. Besides, Nintendo have by far the richest back catalogue and history of any of the platform holders. Why not use it from time to time? There's a lot of kids out there who have never played ALTTP.

    This makes me cream my pants a little considering that A Link to the Past is my favorite Zelda of all time. I replay it about once a year. BUT, I don't know if it would be enough to justify a full price game for me. I think it would need something else to offer. I've already got Four Swords, Zelda 1 and 2 for NES on my 3DS so I'm not sure offhand what they could offer to get me, the target audience, to pay full price.
