A demo of Burnout Paradise in Tokyo has shocked eager hands by being the first ever PlayStation 3 game to feature rumble feedback. But the pad used wasn't a Dual Shock 3.
The game was on show at EA's pre-Tokyo Game Show press event, and came complete with regular-looking SixAxis controllers, according to gaming site IGN.com. But once the game kicked off, the controllers kicked out the rumble effect.
Further investigation revealed that the SixAxis pads used bore a large sticker marked 'RUMBLE' on the reverse, and were heavier than regular PS3 controllers. With luck, Sony should confirm an official rumbling pad for PS3 at its TGS conference tomorrow, but will it be SixAxis 2 or Dual Shock 3?
