Resident Evil 5: BSAA Emblem Guide

We’ve collected many trivial things in our time. Briefcases, bags, bobbleheads, death cards, even human skulls sit comfortably in our mental trophy room of Worthless Accomplishments. But none of these were so frustratingly hard to find as the BSAA emblems in Resident Evil 5. Some are dangling. Some are sticking to the roof. Some are slid horizontally into space only large enough for the exact dimensions of the emblem. In other words… you need this guide.

Above: Collect all 30 and Sheva’s tribal costume is all yours

Grabbing all 30 gets you that lovely getup, plus something special for Chris and a number of other trinkets (we’ll let you discover those yourself). Now, on with the guide.

For a complete guide to gameplay, including bosses and puzzles, go HERE

Above: Every BSAA emblem in Chapter 1

Chapter 1-2: The first emblem lies just outside the boundary of the level (told you they were tricky), but it’s easy to spot from the balcony of this two-story building.

Chapter 1-2: You’ll come to a room with a wooden ladder and no roof. Take a look up and you’ll see BSAA number two resting on the water tower.

Chapter 1-2: The last emblem of 1-2 is just before the exit, right after the metal briefcase filled with pistol ammo. Look through the walls on the left to see it hovering along the back wall.

Above: Every BSAA emblem in Chapter 2

Chapter 2-1: Located in the very room you start the level, hanging on the wall to the right of the exit. Miss this and you should put the controller down and consider a different hobby.

Chapter 2-1: After stopping the runaway truck and crossing the bridge, turn around to face said bridge and find this emblem resting near one of the support columns.

Chapter 2-1: This cruelly placed emblem is in the area where you find the keys dangling from a body. Before entering the room with those keys, check this small structure’s crevice for a well-hidden collectible.

Chapter 2-1: After using the keys and crossing the small boat, look for 2-1’s fourth emblem hanging on a building’s balcony. You’ll have to get higher up to see it – do so by climbing the wooden ladder nearby.

Chapter 2-1: When you reach the assist jump, turn around and look to the upper right to find this emblem relaxing on the roof.

Chapter 2-2: There’s a giant tower behind the star point – walk out far enough, turn around and use a rifle to break BSAA emblem number nine.

Chapter 2-2: When you cross the small underground bridge, look at the waterfall to your right to spot the next target.

Chapter 2-2: Once outside, climb the really tall ladder and move to the left. Use a rifle to find this emblem sitting on top of the buildings you just left.

There was one Emblem in the game that is not on this site. in the room where there are big flaming balls (before the room with changing stairs) when you enter. aim above the door that you need to open and there is one above it

For the emblem on 3-2 is there a third shed because the emblem wasn't there when I kicked in the two sheds by the escape boat

Ok so, on Resident Evil 5 to get the Emblem on the pole in Chapter 3-1. First, turn towards the gate and scope out the first pole and the move about three steps to the right, then you'll see a second one. You can actually take the ar boat up to it to get a better, closer shot on the emblem by driving towards the second pole, it should be in plain sight up close, good luck!

The above picture is wrong, you do not unlock Chris' Safari outfit with the BSAA emblems, you unlock Chris' S.T.A.R.S outfit by finding 25 BSAA emblems.

There's an even easier way to get 5-3. Before the platform starts moving at all, you can look up through the grill in the bottom of the lever station and shoot it with the rifle. It appears as an oddly bluish patch in the middle of the grill. Just walk a little way down the ramp and you'll be looking at it

Hey guys and girls, this guide has been mega helpful in finding all those cruelly placed emblems like in 2-2, but I have a question. I own RE 5 gold edition and in the final part of the oil refinery when the clock ticks down, i try to find the emblem's location described in the guide but when i come to the room it should be in the wall is completely blank. i shoot the wall anyway and nothing. Any ideas? It is the door that is locked before the count down and then 3 zombies swarm out as you pass by right?

5-3 If you get on the platform BEFORE going up, you can still get that emblem.

I tested the theory. I shot a majini with the grenade vest (that explodes on death) and it got me the emblem. I even made sure by throwing a grenade in the container.

hey really good guide, thanks man, but on the second last emblem if you have the grenade launcher with the fire rounds you can shoot it into the box, but it only works if you are still standing on the box and havent jumped down yet, :P but good guide thanks for the help

Thank you Guys;) I am so happy now I have got 1.All Emblems. 2. All Figures and all Costumes
  • Badseeker - December 3, 2009 9:03 p.m.

Chapter 6-1 Shooting the dynamite on the second emblem, the one in the container, DOES NOT WORK. You need a grenade or rocket.
  • mr70265 - October 4, 2009 10:10 p.m.

awsome game and sheva is hot

On 2-1. there's an emblem right in the starting room, but I can't see to get credit for it. I went through the level, got credit for the 4 others, but the game refuses to give me credit for the 1st one. I've tried it several times, but no matter what, I can't get credit for it. Each time I do the entire level up till shopping for 2-2. The emblem breaks, and it shows the animation of going into my inventory, but when I beat the round, or quit the round, it doesn't show up, saying I still only have 4/5. Has anyone else had this problem with the BSAA Emblems?
