Rayman Legends gameplay and interview with the developers

Ubisoft reveals Rayman's Jack and the Beanstalk level

Rayman made a name for himself in the platforming genre and impressed gamers with 2011's Rayman Origins. Early next year, Rayman will be returning on the Nintendo Wii U with five-player cooperative, platforming action. We had a chance to speak with the developers about the game and play through a brand new level, which is inspired by the Jack and the Beanstalk fairy tale. Have a look in the video below.

Rayman Legends will be available in early 2013 on the Wii U.

This game looks more amazing each time I see it, and the environment looks a lot nicer than even Origins (by which I mean, I wouldn't have thought that was even possible, but there you go). However, it was pretty interesting when he revealed that the GamePad player can use Rayman instead of Murphy, as in, not having to use the functions at all if you don't want to, because up till this point I thought it was a pretty fundamental thing. So hopefully this game is still just as fun to play in single player. I had fun with Origin's co-op but I had to beat the tail-end of the game by myself. Definitely my most anticipated WiiU game though.
