RadarPlays - Thrill Kill

Violence and suggestive content do not a good game make. Few games demonstrate this as profoundly as Thrill Kill, the unreleased PS1 brawler that EA quashed right before release. Oh sure, it's got 4-player fighting, and grisly executions that rival the over-the-top gore of Mortal Kombat's Fatalities. But as Lucas, Tom, and Ryan learn, no amount of controversial content can save a fundamentally terrible game.

Want to hang out with GamesRadar's editors while taking a look at retro games, new releases, and totally random experiences? RadarPlays is for you. Mondays we'll be checking out blasts from the past on RadarPlays Retro, Wednesdays we change things up to whatever we feel like playing with RadarPlays Shuffle, and Friday is packed with the strangest titles you’ve never (hopefully) heard of in RadarPlays Freaky. We'll also release RadarPlays for all the new releases, so be sure to check back!

Good shit guys. I remember REALLY wanting to play this when I was younger, as I was dying for a fighting game with more than just 2 players. I was incredibly disappointed when it was cancelled. Once I realized the Wu-Tang game was built with the same engine, I immediately ran out and got it. A little part of me died that day.

I had this game on my PS1 on blag *shhh* the only character to have an ending video was mammoth and that video was f***ed up. Also when there were 3 - 4 fighters each button had a different finisher and when it was the last one Triangle and X were one finisher and Square and Circle were a different if I remember correctly. I loved this game, I was only a kid at the time in primary school roughly 10 and I didn't know it was actually killed I went looking for it about half way through the PS2 life cycle because i wanted to play it again lol The shock i got when i found out it was never completed :-( followed by the joy of being one of the few to try it.

This really could have been the Xbox one's KILLER app.

OMG you got it working. I'm sorry Lucas I thought it be better. Was fun watching you guys play though. I guess it differs with the editions.

Yo Lucas! Where's RadioRadar at!? Also, this is another game which everything about is repulsive to me. The ugly polygons, the crass artistic design, the drab backgrounds, the noise-filled music. Ugh.

Nevermind, I guess it speeds up with less characters on the screen. Either way, another great RadarPlays Freaky!
