My favorite memory is from when I was the army, and I had a big Pokemon poster on the wall above my bed. My roommates tore it down, and beat the shit out of me. I guess I had it coming.

I personally loved what they did in B/W, even if it turned out better in B/W2 with the old Pokemon. Watch then do SOMETHING for the #666'th Pokemon, itll probably a devil or something. Mystery Dungeon is off by a long shot but hell if it aint entertaining, it was awesome, especially the story and extra bits you can do afterwards. Im still buzzed about Gengar being "That guy" who you thought was you. and dont get me started on Time and Darkness. I remember how i was kicking my ass looking for a Pikachu in Viridian forest in my Pokemon Blue and because ive been doing the same of encountering and running, ive literally ran away from 3 pikachu's without noticing till it was too late because of how tired i was, GODDAMN IT.

just FYI, the pokemon models in the trailer for X & Y are NOT the same as those in Pokedex 3D Pro - compare Pikachu between the two; you'll see some big differences

Well, i did not like Pikachu when I first saw him. I thought that he, as well as Mario, was stealing the spotlight of much better characters, such as Squirtle (in the case of Pikachu, that damn rat) and Link (in the case of Mario). And then Super Smash Bros came out, and Pikachu was so strong in that game, that I stopped hating him and selected him as my favorite Smash's character ever since. Also, I only stopped hating Mario when I got my Super Mario Bros Deluxe for GBC.

Since I'm still subscribed to Pokemon Monday, can you guys switch it to that feed on iTunes so it doesn't get mixed in with Radioradar? Pretty please? :P

So can I call it Pokemon Tuesday? Pokemon Tuesday, the newest generation of Pokemon podcasts, with three new hosts to choose from! As for #25, well my first Pokemon card was a base set Pikachu. In game there is not much to say about him outside of Yellow Version (where he was forced into my life). I do use Raichu on two of my other teams. The Raichu in my Crystal version is a beast and she is also the daughter of the Pikachu from my Yellow team. Hooray cross-generational family heroes! For a future Pokemon spotlight you must feature Skarmory. The greatest Pokemon to ever exist, always a threat, and holds the record (tied) for the most appearances on my teams with six. Oh, and it is my favorite Pokemon too :)

Is it just my computer, or is GR condensing all of my comments. I space things out for a reason, primarily to make it easier for other people to read (three small paragraphs are a lot easier to read than one giant mess of text).

Also I hope there are less pokemon this time around but plenty of new ones as there were too many black and white pokemon I didnt care for; the starters, the monkeys etc. And on that note hopefully the starters are well balanced this time around as snivy was useless and tepig overpowered and yet another fire/fight type Im eyeing fennekin as I dont care for chespins clothes look which was present in b/w but hopefully he evolves out of it. I dont think I really care for ken sugimoris new style. for the legendaries I too thought the rainbow deer was cool but too similar to b/w trio(which looked horrible and mediocre say for keldeo) and so it the pulsing red bird even though I dont like his nose.
  • shawksta - January 29, 2013 5:17 p.m.

This is my opinion but i personally loved what they did with the original B/W where there's no old pokemon at all till you beat the story. It made it feel like a real fresh experience but as i said, my opinion.
  • rainn'sgaydar - January 29, 2013 6:31 p.m.

I liked that too, but I think I'd like to see less this time around too. Of course, that's just my opinion.
  • codystovall - January 29, 2013 2:25 p.m.

I hate the look of the overworld in Y/X. The battles look cool but I want my topdown sprites for the overworld. They look better than miis but thats not sayin much.
  • Cyberninja - January 29, 2013 2:25 p.m.

I remembering traveling Kanto with my loyal pikachu in Pokemon Yellow, I even had it be the one to deal the final blow to blue in the champship battle, also pikachu adds a lot of character to the anime without it or ash the appeal would be long dead for me.
  • TaserLime - January 29, 2013 2:08 p.m.

Hollander; Henry's the host, you aren't. Henry's probably prepared an outline for the podcast to enable discussion. STOP INTERRUPTING THE MOTHERFUCKING TANK WHEN HE'S TRYING TO INTRODUCE A SEGMENT
