Oh my god, this is great news!!
  • KidKatana - February 9, 2012 1:30 a.m.

Can we have an HD remake of the first one on PSN/XBLA please?
  • ThisIsMyFuckingThirdAccount - February 8, 2012 6:34 p.m.

I care nothing for Minecraft or his Skyrim ripoff, but if this happens, I will find Notch and I will violently and fervently suck his dick dry.
  • kyle94 - February 9, 2012 1:01 a.m.

You do know what "Scrolls" is, right? It's a bloody card game being made by Notch. It's as much of a rip-off of Skyrim as Rain Man is a rip-off of Batman, because they both end in "man".
  • ThisIsMyFuckingThirdAccount - February 9, 2012 10:55 a.m.

Oh sorry, I forgot to explain humor.
  • kyle94 - February 9, 2012 2:40 p.m.

Of course, because we all know that sarcasm is always easy to see through text. Who needs body language and inflection to make their point clear? Obviously, anyone can tell the difference between someone who is joking, and someone who is serious. I mean, it's not like there's someone else on this same comment section who are calling Notch a thief, without intending it to be a joke. (Though, in all seriousness, if you're upset over your sarcasm not going across very well, you must be new to using it online. Sarcasm rarely comes across well through text, and you shouldn't be surprised when it doesn't, taking a pissy tone at the same time. Unless the sarcasm is painfully obvious [as in my case], it's best just not using it.)

I'm commenting about Minecraft and Notch on an article about Psychonauts from a video game website. I would think that it was implied that I knew what Scrolls is. The joke is meant to say that Zenimax was right in fearing for the integrity of their intellectual property when, in fact, they're just batshit insane.
  • ThisIsMyFuckingThirdAccount - February 9, 2012 10:48 p.m.

    Replace "implied" with "painfully obvious".

I think a single joyous tear just fell from my eye.
  • Ultimadrago - February 8, 2012 12:47 p.m.

Not a fan of Minecraft, or Notch really, but Psychonauts 2?! As long as Tim is at the head of the ship as he should be, I'm down down down!
  • Arucard04 - February 8, 2012 11:06 a.m.

I've been rock hard since this news broke.
  • FanofSaiyan - February 8, 2012 10:59 a.m.

Heres hoping he funds a Brutal Legend 2!
  • inkyspot - February 8, 2012 11:37 a.m.

Me too. Brutal Lengend was epic Very excited for this new though
  • Redeater - February 8, 2012 2:01 p.m.

Yes!! If you want a great time just replay Brutal legend on easy so you can blaze through those awful RTS parts. I did so recently and I had forgotten how fantastic that world was.
  • Liqvid - February 8, 2012 10:09 a.m.

That would be cool, but I'd prefer a Grim Fandango 2 , or a remake...
  • Darkhawk - February 8, 2012 10:02 a.m.

This begs the question: where is Notch's money coming from? Seems like a story in there - self-published indie title makes millions for its creator. I knew Minecraft was popular - I just didn't know it made a millionaire!
  • IAmJohnGalt - February 8, 2012 10:56 a.m.

The game made Notch a millionaire when it was still in Beta. Couldn't have happened to a cooler guy.
  • Ded - February 8, 2012 12:43 p.m.

Story was already known :D it's rumoured he made around £75000-$135000 a day last year.
  • sirdilznik - February 8, 2012 10 a.m.

Please, please, please, PLEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAASE let this happen. I would be so happy to play the sequel to one of the greatest platformers ever made. And if it does happen it would also be great if some people actually bought it this time.
