New Mortal Kombat trailer definitely contains content inappropriate for children

'Shadows' trailer gets serious (and cheesy) with the help of Disturbed

Words: on September 1, 2010

Disturbed provides the track for this tantalizing, but kind of YouTube-tribute-esque new trailer for next year's Mortal Kombat reboot. At least the song, “Another Way to Die,” is fitting for a game about making people die (in multiple ways).

The trailer, dubbed 'Shadows,' features serveral of the series' iconic silhouettes doing horrible things to each other. Check it out:

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who's ears were 'disturbed' by the music...
I want to see some gameplay footage but I'm glad to see they've still got the spiky pit-fall death in there (although with enhanced modern curvy spikes instead of those old-skool straight jobs)

    LOL...the Wii

Anyway...not getting too hard over this yet since none of that was actual gameplay footage. MK's gonna have to do some serious work to patch up fan enthusiasm after the last few games.

Cannot wait for this game. I am more than hopeful that it will redeem itself from the embarrassment that was every game after Mortal Kombat 2

awesome vid. quite the teaser. disturbed was smart in promoting a song of which the lyrical content can be used with this game. this is what skillet should've done with hero when ultimate alliance 2 came out.

FAIL! When you said "At least the song, “Another Way to Die,” is fitting for a game about making people die (in multiple ways)." I thought you meant the title song from the movie "007: Quantum of Solace"
