Fight Night Champion’s new trailer for its story-driven career mode looks precisely 93 country miles better than the aforementioned Tommy Gunn suck-fest. Below, you’ll see bare knuckle brawling, corruption and even the odd firearm. Who said boxing was dull?



Oh, and how good is main character Bishop's hobo-style beard?

    I love the Fight Night series, and will be getting this. Wish this mode allowed you to create your own fighter and go through this story. I'll settle for Andre, though.

    Why are they even bothering calling this Fight Night? This is like Madden turning into Blitz III: The League. (That might not be a bad idea...)

    If they really want to pull some of the attention away from MMA both in games and out with a boring old game about Science(Sweet or not), either they are going to have to go 7 gradients grittier than that (I'm talking guys fighting on top of rooftops of dillapidated buildings in Third World nations, suspended on high wires over tanks of sharks with pressure sensitive explosives in their mouths while they have flaming glass covered gloves on their hands...and that's not even a title match! That's where the snipers come in!)or they could always pull a Million Dollar Baby move with female boxers who may or may not be mercy killed at the end of the game. If they're dressed the same as the guys, they don't even need the grit,grime and crime to get that M-rating they're angling for.

    Why has E.A. became obsessed with needlessly gritty-fying everything in sight? Although, this looks nowhere near as painful as SSX... However, fair play for making a character who looks like more unkempt version of D'Angelo Barksdale.
