New Assassin's Creed: Revelations video expands on the E3 cinematic trailer

At a glance, it may look like you’ve seen this Assassin’s Creed: Revelations trailer before, and there’s a reason for that. It’s actually almost identical to the one Ubisoft showed off at this year’s E3, save for two key differences: it lasts for a few seconds longer, and the catchy music is replaced with Ezio’s narration. While they might sound like minor changes, these two alterations completely change the tone of the video from a cool cinematic battle to a full-blown story trailer that delves into the plot of Revelations.

Don’t be worried about spoilers, either – unlike some other videos for Assassin’s Creed, this trailer does a good job at laying the groundwork for the story without revealing any major plot details from AC2 or Brotherhood. Instead, it focuses on the future (or, well, technically the past), and shows off some of the locations we’re going to see in Revelations to get us prepared to jump back into the animus and kick Templar butt.

Revelations is due out on November 14 for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3, and promises to answer many of the questions asked in the series thus far, though we highly doubt they're going to address our biggest inquiry: when does Desmond pee if he spends all of his time in the animus? The people need to know, Ubisoft! The people need to know.
