By now you’ve probably heard that Freddy Kreuger is the new downloadable character in the latest Mortal Kombat. If you haven’t, it’s probably because have some kind of weird 80’s nostalgia filter in your brain, which you should really get in check immediately. Yeah, we’re Nightmare on Elm Street nerds, so obviously we were ridiculously excited that Freddy was coming to MK initially, but then nerd rage reared its ugly, nerdy head once we noticed trival shit like Krueger having two gloves and lacking the likeness of Robert Englund. However, we’re happy to report that Freddy’s appearance in MK is chock full of glorious Nightmare references. His moves, his fatalities, and GOOD GOD, you simply must see his Babality!

Awesome! I love the added cheese factor of having Mr. Krueger himself in MK :). Loved the reference to Freddy vs. Jason, Chris! Where is a lesser member of Destiny's Child when you need one, huh?

Thanks for that. Not only was it higly amusing, but it means I no longer have to get hold of MK (again)& the DLC just to see Freddy's finishers.

If the developers were smart they would take the ssb route and get as many random but sensible assortment of characters as that would sell bigtime.

Tried to play as him earlier but every time my PS3 went to install the update it resets the system and takes me back to the XMB. The same thing happened when I downloaded Skarlet. Damn you updates!!!!!

I love GR but c'mon, you are almost losing some of the matches on easy! And you've got some pretty decent BnB combos with Freddy! You just need to block...

i love almost everything about this website but these are honestly just third rate versions of the quick looks giantbomb.com does. i'm not saying its not ok for gamesradar to these but why do you keep cutting from clip to clip in all of these? im intrested in seeing what happens inbetween. also i hated watching this because it was just seven minutus of you guys bitching. Thats not entertaing. "i don't like this freddy" "ewww two claws" "I wanted jason" "He played this game for an hour and never wanted to play again" "i've never really seen this game". Seriously don't fap if your just going to be assholes about it. FAP about the things you enjoy, like the xbox 360 system and controller, or Okami. Hereing the crew bitch about mortal kombat hurts me at a personal level, and you guys are just vicious assholes about how much you hate it. you guys are like duke nukem in these videos. ocatinally something funny happens but its mostly just offensive. Also fuck you i've had a bad day maybe i'm being unreasonable, totally possible.

@ItBurnsWhenIWii: I think you're being a little unreasonable, considering they didn't say they hated any part of it just that Chris and Henry didn't know much about the game. Even with that though you failed to notice the praise Brett gave it for it's fully formed campaign. The one thing I do agree with though is that I also wish the video wasn't edited. I'll watch the full video no matter how long and if someone wants to skip ahead then they can just click ahead in the video.

Best Babality in the entire game, and as a huge NoES fan, I LOVE all the little references to such an iconic series. my one complaint? Freddy needed some dialogue. XD
