What's in a name? Well, when it comes to video games names, usually a lot of tiresome buzz words, clichéd phrases and way too much use of the letter x. We're tired of titles chosen by marketing men, which are more concerned with selling us an idea than telling us about the actual game. The following games are all guilty of these naming shames, so that's why we've given each a new moniker to more accurately sum up either what each one is about or the legacy each one has left. o and im not sure if its just cause of my lack of knowledge of unclear wars, but fallout 3 dont make much sense either. (this may be just because i dont know what a fallout is, if a fallout is anything at all)

not a bad article, Gears of War made sense thought theres nothing wrong with that name. Theyre Gears....and theyre at war, yes the gore part makes sense but the cheers part doesnt make sense at all to me

Perfect Mark? Zero (Perfect Dark Zero- actually, it was a pretty good game in places and good looking).

Risible Sequel Zero- Resident Evil 0 (again, it was a pretty good game, just not as good as some reviews tried to make out- not as good as the remake).

Final Fantasy? Nein.

Mario Kart- Balderdash!! (Mario Kart: Double Dash!!- a colourful game but a series that remains less ambitious than 1999's Crash Team Racing by Naughty Dog).

I saw the Wii one coming only because I was think that before I even came to the article. I have to say, Cheers of Gore was pretty creative. I was a fan.
