Modern Warfare 3 Chaos Mode DLC debuted in new trailer

The new mode being added to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in the next DLC pack, Chaos Mode, earns every bit of its title in the new trailer released today. Chaos Mode is essentially long-awaited catharsis for Call of Duty players. Instead of stalking the map, working hard for each kill, Chaos Mode apparently gives you the chance to mow down enemies by the billions.

The Chaos Pack launches on Xbox Live today. As previously detailed it will also include four Spec-Ops co-op maps: Vertigo, Arctic Recon, Light 'Em Up and Special Delivery. As well as three new maps for the newish Face Off mode: Vortex, U-Turn and Intersection. As with other CoD DLC packs, this one will set you back 1200 MSP ($15.)

Wow. $15 for that? No wonder people hate activision.

It's the new chaos mode, 4 new spec-ops missions, and 3 new face-off maps. That's what you are paying $15 for.

Too mind dumbing... God, my head hurts just watching that stuff. Seems like Infinity is trying to find their own type of secondary mode such as Treyarch's Zombies. They've really been all over the place with it.

That's a lot of DLC for a game to be played for 2 months. Then after Blops 2 is released it will be all quick scopers.

Never heard of this Blops game. What is it? (BTW I have, I am making fun of that retarded nickname, are you so short on time you can't type the extra "ack "? it's almost as dumb as saying "PWN") To Paragon...they are making their own that take bits from Zombies, but isn't exact copies. They have 3 while Treyarch has one, I like they variations and all 4 modes are great. (have yet to try newest one, but looks fun)

That's fine, but it seems like they wouldn't want to make any more secondary modes if they thought that the ones being created could become "the next big thing in CoD MW secondarily". But although they're alright, I don't think they've hit the spot quite yet that Zombies has for many people from Treyarch. They've made so many, instead of building upon one or two that works. But I take it that the making of another means they are not satisfied with the approval of those before it. So it's a trail and error approach, but then that's taking away resources that could be used elsewhere. (Although some do like the modes better than others, but this is coming from me, who doesn't personally." In other words, random pot-shots to an invisible target. I just wish more developers would listen to the community a bit more for a little helpful guidance to make clear that metaphorical "target" instead of spending forever trying to guess. Not saying that developer intuition and creativity is bad or wrong, it just takes longer to bring it home. I, personally from my opinion, do not think that this is going to be that great. It's like survival mode on steroids from what I've seen.
