    Read first page. They find these on other websites, as the many links they provide are the source of the memes.

    It isn't that they are super unfunny, it is just that they aren't funny. Plus, 75% of the comments want them to stop yet you insist on posting one every two weeks. It is like you are ignoring our requests, not a very good thing to do to the people that go on your site.

    Commenters comprise probably around 10% of the site's viewership, being vocal does not make one right.

    I like the KFC one, I laughed. The original art ones are better than the caption generators. Not hating on the article and this wasn't on there, but I want to meet whoever made "that awkward moment when..." popular so I can shoot them in the knees.

    I recall Henry Gilbert went on a 10 minute rant on TR about how much he and others hated "arrow to the knee" specifically because it wasn't a joke. ..........yeah.

    I haven't complained about these type of articles before but after seeing #7 and #35 I'm out. Seriously, these have never been that funny but when they spoof a certain game mechanic they can be mildly amusing. Do you guys even filter this stuff or are you trying to target 10 year olds who find nut and lesbian jokes the height of comedy?

    I understand these weekend articles are easy to make but if you guys can't even be bothered to have the slightest bit of quality control let me know. You guys are making my migration to Destructoid very easy as of late.

    Redeater, not sure if you realize this, but your comment is petty and irrelevant precisely because it exists, here on this page. I'm sure the GR staff couldn't really care less if you're going to D-toid or any other site. Why? Because you're going to do that anyway (you have every right to, they can't stop you) and your comment is proof that you're still coming to this site in the first place. If you want to make an impression, send the GR staff a message and unsubscribe or just stop coming to the site altogether. It may not make a difference anyway, but if there really are as many people as you who hate these harmless meme splashes that much, then maybe they'll stop. But who am I kidding? Just you watch... I can bet my bottom dollar that next time one of these meme things pop up, you'll angrily comment on it or, if not (if you're as smart as you make yourself out to be), you'll ignore it and be happily viewing and commenting on some other content on the site that you like.

    Keep making more of these. I get a small laugh out of a couple of these, and as you stated, that is a success. Ignore those that take things too serious and can neither enjoy life a little or leave those that do alone.
