Mass Effect 3 "Leviathan" single-player DLC revealed

The following post will contain mild spoilers about the plot of the "Leviathan" downloadable content pack for Mass Effect 3. If you don't want to know anything about the storyline, then you should stop reading, and simply know that a voice actor in the new content confirmed the news to Eurogamer, and that a release date is currently unknown.

If you want to know more, then we can tell you (seriously, stop reading if you don't want to know anything) that the pack will star Leviathan, a reaper who killed one of his own kind ten years ago and has been in exile. He controls an indoctrinated Batarian mining facility, and may be recruited in the fight against the reapers.

A partial script of the DLC was found inside the code of the Epilogue DLC. More information on the DLC is due out next week at Bioware's official panel at San Diego Comic Con. It's speculated that Leviathan's plot may reveal further information about the Reapers.

A new ending is what it must come with. Seriously why would I want a Reaper helping me along with the game if it doesn't change the outcome. I actually liked the first Mass Effect 3 ending. It left room open for what actually happened and we got something awesome like the Indoctrination Theory. But then Bioware said, "NOPE!" Yes there will be new gameplay, cut scenes and a new mission but if having an entire Reaper helping us doesn't change the outcome of the game's ending, why would I want to buy it? It just sounds really unrealistic.

So the Reapers can rebel? So with the control ending couldn't the Reapers just not do what you tell them? Destroy ending for me then.

Recruiting a Reaper to fight the Reapers... why did I never think that was possible until I read this article?
