Lego Star Wars coming to Gamecube

Nintendo gamers can enjoy the interstellar block party at last

Lego Star Wars is set to touch down on Gamecube, with the game's publisher, Eidos, announcing that it's releasing the title for the console on 4 November - four days after Star Wars Episode III comes out on DVD.

With its cooperative, buddy-up gameplay and lovable Lego-fication of the Star Wars universe, the game has on PS2, Xbox, PC and GBA and currently occupies number 24 in the all formats chart - quite an achievement considering it was released six months ago.

Lego Star Wars is out now for PS2, Xbox, PC and GBA and will be released for Gamecube on 4 November
