Japan gets Street Fighter-inspired Scott Pilgrim cover. No Fair!

Man it’s been a while since we performed a Scott Pilgrim circle jerk! It ain’t our fault! Both the game and the movie are out now in homes everywhere, and the incredible comic series has been concluded for a while now. But lo! A new bit of Scott Pilgrim coolness has come our way, and it’s from Japan so you know this is going to be a news post of epic epicness!

Above: Did we mention this was awesome?!

It seems the last of the Scott Pilgrim comic saga are only just now reaching Japan. Not only are they getting Scott Pilgrim vs The Universe and Scott Pilgrim’s Finest Hour bundled into one badass edition, the singular tome has cover art inspired by Ryu and Akuma’s famous pose from Street Fighter Alpha 2! Hey, give us a reason to buy anything Pilgrim related again and we’ll probably do it. How do you say “pre-order” in Japanese?

Above: That'd probably make a kickass iPhone Wallpaper. UR WELCUM!

@Romination it must be nice being a prick. all you have to do is belittle someone else, and you feel better about youself.
  • TheDude97 - April 20, 2011 10:05 a.m.

    I'm in lesbians with this.
  • Romination - April 20, 2011 9:22 a.m.

It's gotta be nice being Scott Pilgrim's creator. All you have to do is say "STREET FIGHTER DER" and everyone talks about how fucking amazing you are.
  • Zuido - April 20, 2011 3:30 a.m.

Scott Pilgrim was the most underrated movie last year....
  • EnragedTortoise1 - April 20, 2011 3:20 a.m.

  • Bri77777 - April 20, 2011 2:29 a.m.

I can almost imagine Scott punching Gideon in the face right now. The anti-Triforce should be bigger, in my opinion.
  • 8bitBaby - April 20, 2011 2:15 a.m.

that's sooopa awesome. dang. you know, O'Malley probably would have posted this pic in massive poster size to his deviant art page, if he hadn't deactivated his account after being trolled insanely hard. dA at its worst. just sad. thanks to you i get to see this pic enlarged.

I missed these circle jerks so much :) Interesting fact about this cover, it was the only japanese cover actually designed and illustrated by Bryan lee o'malley.
  • Phil0syfee - April 20, 2011 12:50 a.m.

@batmanboy11 Agreed that is a sweet looking cover.
  • MrDuracraft - April 20, 2011 12:49 a.m.

"Man it’s been a while since we performed a Scott Pilgrim circle jerk!" The more circle jerks the better! Especially when it comes to Scott Pilgrim
