New screenshots from Halo 4’s campaign have surfaced online. They look good enough to be in a gallery. So that’s what we’ve done. Please peruse them with your eyes in the gallery above. The lighting in the shots really is all kinds of sci-fi lovely.

Expect plenty more Halo 4 hype in the weeks leading up to the Xbox shooter’s release on 6 November.

    Does Cortana really have to be 'sexy'? Can't 343 get us to care about her using reasons OTHER than sex?

    I dont know about anyone else but I think Cortana looks better in Halo 3. Either way I can't wait for this game to come out!

    As a fan of Halo since the original, I can honestly say 343 might be the best pick for the series. I mean, what better development team could their be other than overly talented fans of a series they've loved since its inception?

    I'm hoping the redesign to Cortana is good, and that this was just a poorly timed screenshot.

    While I am an advocate for naked computer women in video games, Cortana's new look is a bit disconcerting. Whatever, I'll get over it, in like 2 seconds when the game comes out.

    "The Storm Jackal is a species of Jackal that will make its first appearance in Halo 4. Not much is know but they are expected to be stronger and may be a different rank to the normal Jackals."
