Xbox owners, here's your hardware porn of the day: an Xbox One X being built step-by-step

Microsoft didn't use up any of its stage time at E3 2017 to go over the hardware specs of Xbox One X - formerly known as Project Scorpio. And while some fans surely appreciated the focus on software, I know there are plenty of you out there that enjoy diving into the nitty gritty of what makes up a console. And if that describes you, you're in for a treat.

During its E3 livestream Xbox spokesman Larry Hryb sat down with Leo Del Castillo, General Manager of Xbox Hardware, to build an Xbox One X piece by piece. Microsoft hasn't released the video in a standalone form yet, so skip to 2:06:17 to watch:

Even if the prospect of talking about vapor chambers doesn't get you excited, it's still pretty fascinating to watch an Xbox One be built up starting with the Scorpio engine chip. Like watching a Frankenstein's monster of silicon and steel slowly coming to life. A sexy, 4K-capable Frankenstein's monster that is. ... Sorry, did I make that weird? I made that weird.
