GamesRadar on the BBC!

10th Dec, 2007

The BBC came into the GamesRadar offices to do some filming last week.As a result, a few of us have ended up on TV. Our mums are ever so proud.

You might be aware that UK politicians have started lobbying for better testing of games in regards to the effects they have on epileptics. That all started in our neck of the woods, and so it was only logical that when the Beeb decided to run a feature on the story for its Politics Show, it came to us. Not only are we near to the source of the story, but we employ the finest gaming minds in the country and our journalists are by far the sexiest available, so we'reincredibly well suited to TV.

The feature ran on BBC1 on Sunday afternoon, but it's now online for your streaming pleasureat The Politics Show's web site. Just clickright hereto see us rocking out like fiends on Rock Band, as well as earning our Oscars for 'Best supporting Oompa Loompa in the background of an interview'. We're just one part of a lengthy video though, so we'd recommend skipping forward to around 14:55 unless you have a particularly strong interest in West Country politics.

David Houghton
Long-time GR+ writer Dave has been gaming with immense dedication ever since he failed dismally at some '80s arcade racer on a childhood day at the seaside (due to being too small to reach the controls without help). These days he's an enigmatic blend of beard-stroking narrative discussion and hard-hitting Psycho Crushers.
