If you’re so sick of hearing about it, why are you writing about it, GamesRadar? Huh? HUH? Because we enjoy bitching as much as the next person, that’s why, and if complaining about bitching by bitching makes us hypocrites, then we don’t want to be crites.
We’ve written about all of this stuff, sometimes seriously, but usually with a side of snark fin soup, which is how we maintain our nonchalant demeanor. This flippant attitude puts us in a Plexiglas house – it don’t break, but our stones sometimes bounce back and hit us in the groins. Our iron-cupped privates can handle that, so take this, everyone, and us – we’re tired of hearing your, and our, vapid blabbering!
Roger Ebert is a troll, but he’s right about one thing: we constantly seek validation. There’s no point. Games are what they are, and so are films and paintings. They will be treated differently as they and culture as a whole change. We can affect that change by supporting games which we think are valuable cultural contributions, and that’s what we’ll do.

The debate itself will continue to consist of: “ya but how is art definined lol?” It’s the most tired, unfun gaming debate there is - we’d rather play a Wii party game non-ironically than argue more semantics with trolls.
Digital rights management has been employed by publishers to counteract a culture which is increasingly comfortable with and capable of circumventing payment. Legitimate game purchasers hate DRM because it restricts and sometimes even prevents enjoyment of the games they’ve purchased.

That’s the gist. So, do we all agree that DRM which screws over honest gamers is shit? Good. Do we all agree that the work of game developers has value, and thus piracy shouldn’t be excused? Good. Well damn, it’s a problem that requires some considered thought, and a solution other than, “Piracy is your fault for charging too much for games and making them crappy! Blame everyone but me! Copying isn’t stealing! I heart Valve!”
If you want to offer some considered analysis to the debate (the opposite of what we’re doing right now), then fantastic. If you just want to say “HAY GUYS, DOES EVERYONE ELSE THINK DRM SUCKS?” then have your circlejerk elsewhere… like your basement… with the lights dimmed.
No really, we don’t like it when people die. Take a break now and then, guys.
We’ve devoted an entire article to these awful creations, which suggests just how much we hate them. Please, don’t wear them, don’t take photos of yourself wearing them and post them and say “GEEK 4 LYFE” or do anything remotely like that. If you really think “Blow Me” is funny, then okay, but we will laugh at you behind your back if we see you in public. Or maybe directly to your face.
