Five reasons to Shadowrun

Strategy

If you want to run and gun in Shadowrun (ooh, rhyming), that's fine. But thinking is rewarded too. Take the Tree of Life. When you cast this magical spell, a towering and glowing plant will grow instantly wherever the seed was thrown. Stand under the tree and your health slowly regenerates.

Quickly, teams realize they can create these protective outposts wherever they go, including right in the middle of their enemies' territory. Storming a fully guarded base to grab the flag ("artifact" here) suddenly doesn't seem so foolish. Of course, the other side can plant their own tree, or stand under your tree to reap the same benefits, so perhaps it is foolish? Cue the aforementioned thinking.

Or, forgo running and gunning altogether to play as a pure strategist. It's possible. Buying the Resurrect spell and concentrating solely on fallen comrades is not only extremely beneficial to your team (as there are no automatic respawns within rounds). It can be a refreshing change of pace for you, too.
