G5 LASER MOUSE
The Logitech G5 Laser mouse may just be our favorite mouse ever. With a 2000dpi laser sensor, buttons for adjusting the sensitivity on the fly, and customizable weights that load into a slot on the bottom, this mouse is a time tested favorite among the staff in the office. The newly updated G5 even adds a second thumb button on the left!

HABU GAMING MOUSE
The specs on this animal read like a hardcore shooter fan’s shopping list: on-the-fly mouse-sensitivity switching up to 2000dpi, an always-on laser to eliminate lag, and two swappable side panels for large or small paws. A thumb button changes button assignment profiles on the fly for tactical changes, or for simply turning off buttons that get in the way of a good fight. Plus, it’s ambidextrous! South paws rejoice!

GAMER HD7600L
We don’t know why companies give mice complex model numbers, but we sure know that Creative’s Gamer HD7600L is a smoking mouse. Its laser is accurate up to a 2400dpi resolution, which can be toggled all the way down to 400dpi. The laser automatically reduces power when the mouse is taken off a surface, so you won’t risk blinding yourself.

FATAL1TY GAMING MOUSE
You get astounding tracking and a smooth ride with this mouse created to the specs of FPS champ Jonathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel. Features include on-the-fly resolution changing and interchangeable weights for altering its heft. It’s for the precision gamer with an itchy trigger finger.

OBSIDIAN WIRELESS MOUSE
While gamers typically shun wireless mice because of the slight increase in latency delays compared to corded mice, the Obsidian from Saitek is too slick to pass up. The 1000dpi optical sensor is fine for real-time strategy games and the touch sensitive scroll wheel is very easy to use. Wireless range stretches to 10 meters, and the mouse even comes with two sets of rechargeable batteries.

IDEAZON REAPER
From the folks who brought us the saucy Fang keypad comes a sleek and subdued gaming mouse with 1600dpi resolution and on-the-fly sensitivity switching with a small button that’s accessible but nearly impossible to press accidentally. Three well-placed buttons on the side promote quick grenade tosses or panicky drops to the prone position. It’s light and comfy and for the semi-pro on a budget.

I have a good rig using the Antec 900, but i dont particularly reccommend the 900 if your going for a bit of a crazy powerful build, which i unfortunately did.

The space in it is incredibly deceptive, any psu above 600w you have to CRAM everything right in there. ;)

I would seriously love to have this on PDF! Is there any way?

I use the Intel Core 2 Quad core Q6600, it's still good isn't it? I bought it on newegg because it was a freakin' awesome deal for $200 and I overlocked this from default "2.4ghz" to what I now have "2.8ghz".

Wow, a section on LCD monitors that doesn't even mention input lag! The Dell 2707WFP is one of the worst gaming screens you can possibly pick! Its input lag is over 40ms, and newer firmware revisions are even worse. If you care about games at all, learn about the difference between TN, PVA and IPS panels, and learn about input lag.

Tip of my hat to you guys, well done. My one annoyance is that there aren't any posted prices for accessories, just "Gamer with a budget" or "Deep pockets." Useful nonetheless.

here's the deal guys. I just downloaded the left 4 dead demo and it runs kind of choppy on my laptop. sometimes there's lag in combat intensive areas and sometimes there's lag when I'm just walking around. I was wondering if a new graphics card would remedy this? if so, can you even put new graphics cards into a laptop? I'd love to get an answer to this before I go by a nvida 8800.
Thanks!

I was going to build it, but it doesnt help w/ the BIOs or anything else, and if this is the first rig youve built(like me) then this is impossible.

i think its good that you teach people how to build a PC... but you should tell them about placing the standoffs...
