Platform: PC | Publisher: Steam | Developer: Team Meat | Price: £5.99/$7.49 | Size: 300MB required
For a game that started life as a flash game, Super Meat Boy has certainly done well to become one of *the* games of 2010. In equal measure it will have you squealing with delight at its exceptional platforming prowess and the next trying to bite your keyboard in half. It's also one of the most entertaining games you'll have played for a while, which is why it's our choice for Download of the Week.
If you need further convincing of it's quality then read our review
, which goes into great detail about why Super Meat Boy is, erm, super. Also, it's the perfect time to get involved at this low, low price because Super Meat World
- a freeware package that allows you to create your own Super Meat Boy levels - is available to create your own stages and share them with others across the interwebs.
