Sure it looks great, but that's not why I played Crash Bandicoot. He looks like a man wearing a costume, moves like one too, and what's with the strafing? Crash Bandicoot never strafed, why would he ever need to? Are those armadillos and vultures wising up to his tactics and have employed a new cover system? This whole thing just seems like a bad idea to me. Sure, graphics change and people want games to look better, but somewhere along the way this game lost its charm. They did it with Spyro, and just look at how grand and award-worthy those games are. It's still a very nice piece of fan-made work, though, don't get me wrong.

I dunno...This looks very good graphicly. The movement is so stiff though and would really need to be smoothed out. Crash is very light hearted and fun. The cartoon look the original had fits better.

    Poor Crash looks so depressed.

Alas, it's not down to Sony. Crash was made before Naughty Dog went first-party, and the franchise rights are with Activision now. And they haven't done anything with it since Mind Over Mutant in 2008.

Holy shit, that looks amazing. Now I want Naughty Dog to render Crash Bandicoot in the Uncharted engine NAOOWW

The physics are a bit lame & he doesn't flip when jumping, but it's still cool. Somehow I can't see Naughty Dog going back to Crash after Uncharted; strange that Sony haven't given it to another studio though. Maybe they're trying for a more mature angle.. ReCaptcha: "unlopla z/x]" really?

Crash's movements look pretty bad, but everything else is impressive. How long did this take to make?
