Comic-Con 2009: Photo diary

In recent years Comic-Con has become one of the biggest events in the US for anyone who enjoys videogames/comics/movies/anime/science fiction. But actually being there is totally overrated - the crowds, the overpriced hotels, the aromas of the unwashed masses - especially when you can follow all the spectacle and excitement from the comfort of your preferred computer workstation. So join us as we explore Comic-Con 2009 with an up-close look at the coolest exhibitors, sexiest booth babes and most hardcore cosplayers.

Or head here if you just want to skip directly to the sexy, sexy booth babes and cosplayers.

SATIIIIN!!!! Seriously, why do the mediocre cosplayers ALWAYS USE SATIN? Unless the character wears satin, don't wear satin! When in doubt, use cotton! Remember kids: Satin is one letter away from Satan. It also is too shiny and looks bad in photographs.

Lol, Twilight. And I'm travelling to Comic-Con one year, and turning up 'dressed' as Dr. Manhattan, just to see how long it takes to get thrown out. Might be a little degrading, but totally worth the humiliation.
