Sonic:
Shoes        - found in manhole in the city.
Bracelet     - found in the door activated by the button on the second level 
               of the hotel in the city. (You will need the shoes before doing 
               this)
Powerup      - found in the grassy exit of the blown out cave in M.R. on the 
               right side.

Tails:
Shoes        - found up through the hole in the roof of the sewers behind 
               Twinkle Park in the city.
Necklace     - found on the left hand-side of the Echidna temple area, within 
               one of the circles on the ground.

Knuckles:
Silver Claws - found in the cave nearest Tails' house in Mystic Ruins.
Gold Claws   - found on the far ledge above the valley in M.R.

Amy:
Feather      - found in the Egg Carrier, received after finishing the game of
               "whack-a-sonic".
Long Hammer  - found after completing the "whack-a-sonic" game again.

* IV. Sonic World Walkthrough *
*******************************

Sonic begins his game with a battle with Chaos 0.  In air dashes to the head
will do him in quickly.

Sonic finds himself by the pool behind the hotel in the city.  Simply head
back around the corner of the hotel to enter level 1.

Upon completion of level 1, Sonic and Tails return to pool-side.  Now Sonic
must go through the hotel and into the city.  Find the train station and take
a ride to the Mystic Ruin.  From the train station there, head to Tails'
house.  At the bottom of the steps, pick up the green crystal.  Take it to
the cave nearest the lake on the opposite side of the M.R.  Place the crystal
on its pedestal to enable the wind to take Sonic to level 2.

Returning to the city, walk around the corner to where the cop cars used to 
be.  Go down in the manhole and get the new shoes.  Step on the button and rev 
up your new shoes to follow the coins up and out.  Now return to the train-
station.  Go down stairs and out into this new part of the city.  Again find
a button, causing rings to appear.  Rev up and follow the rings up to the 
button above the casino.  Level 3 is now open.

After exiting the casino, a crystal will appear down an alley in the city.
Grab it and head to the train station.  Take the crystal on the train to M.R.  
Upon entering, a cinema will show a new cave being blown open.  Enter this 
cave and place the ice crystal on its pedestal.  Enter level 4.

Exit the cave the way you came in and head to the lake.  Knuckles is
introduced with a cinema.  Defeat him and prepare for Chaos 4.  This boss can
be attcaked when he rises out of the water.  Jump from lilly pad to lilly pad
until he is vulnerable, then jumop and dash into him.

Return to Tails' house.  After a cinema, Sonic will hop on the Tornado for Air
Chase Act 1.

Now Sonic is back in the hotel.  Go out the door nearest the elevators,
returning to the area where the casino is.  You will meet Amy.  Now return to
the main part of the city and go to Twinkle Park.  After a cinema, Sonic will 
enter level 5.

After exiting Twinkle Park, find the access card on the triangular patch of
grass in front of you.  Head along the right-hand side of the street until you 
come to the garage door.  Enter for level 6.

Returning to M.R., again go through the cave that was blasted open earlier.
Continue all the way to the end and exit and the previously closed door.  Go
on forward and to the right to find another item on a rock.  Backtrack to the
cave with the caged monkey. Use Sonic's new spin dash to break the cage and
open the gate.  Level 7.

After a cinema, Sonic will once again hop on the Tornado for Air Chase Act 2.

Landing on the Egg Carrier, level 8, Sky Deck, commences.

After the cinema, fight E-102 Y.  This triggers yet another cinema.  Walk
away from the robot and to the left for one more quick cinema.  Go in the
closest "E" door. Hop in the chair.  When it begins to go forward, run behind
it and hit the switch.  Go through the door.  Move forward and go to the
right, dropping down.  Cinema with Big will occur. Here comes Chaos 6.  Wait
for him to stop moving and bend over.  Hit him with a spin attack in the rear
and he will become frozen.  Hit him again to inflict damage. Repeat until he
is defeated.

Sonic now finds himself in the Mystic Ruins one more time.  However, he is
now in a new section, near a pyramid-type structure.  Enter the snake's mouth
on the pyramid to reach level 9.

After looking at the Dragin carving, go around the back of the temple to where
the beacons are coming from.  Explore the space ship (notice Mecha Sonic).  
Look for the lights out type puzzle and change all of the Robotnic (Eggman) 
heads to lights.  Go into the door for level 10, Final Egg.

The final battle with Egg Viper awaits.  This boss have a very simple pattern.
Learn it, and he will be toast in no time.  One character down - five to go!


******************************
* V. Tails World Walkthrough *
******************************

* The object on each level with Tails is to beat Sonic! *

Upon being rescued, Tails returns with Sonic to pool-side.  Now Tails must go
through the hotel and into the city.  Find the train station and take a ride
to the Mystic Ruin.  From the train station there, head to Tails' house.  At
the bottom of the steps, pick up the green crystal.  Take it to the cave
nearest the lake on the opposite side of the M.R.  Place the crystal on its
pedestal to enable the wind to take Tails to level 1.

Now return to the trainstation.  Go down stairs and out into this new part of
the city.  Fly up to the button above the casino.  Level 2 is now open.

After exiting the casino, a crystal will appear down an alley in the city.
Grab it and head to the train station.  Take the crystal on the train to M.R.  
Upon entering, a cinema will show a new cave being blown open.  Enter this 
cave and place the ice crystal on its pedestal.  Enter level 3.

Exit the cave the way you came in and head to the lake.  Knuckles is
introduced with a cinema.  Defeat him and prepare for Chaos 4.  This boss can
be attcaked when he rises out of the water.  Jump from lilly pad to lilly pad
until he is vulnerable, then jumop and dash into him.

Return to Tails' house.  After a cinema, Tails will ready the Tornado for Air
Chase Act 1.

Now head to the minecar next to the lake.  Make your way to the temple.  Go
around the back and head for the cliff.  Take a left and follow the trail for
a cinema. Go into the cave.  Jump up and onto the switch to open the door
below.  Enter Sand Hill, level 4.

Arriving near a new temple with many Echidnas, head left up onto a ledge to
find a green light and a necklace.  Go back to the front of the temple and 
talk to the female Echidna.

Back in the first part of the Mystic Ruins, return to Tails' house for Air
Chase Act 2.

Landing on the Egg Carrier, prepare for level 4.

After finishing the level, you find yourself inside a space ship.  Ride the
pod up for a cinema.  Fight E-102 Y and watch a second cinema.

Finding himself in the city once again, Tails should head to level 5, Speed
Highway.

Next, Tails is attacked by the Egg Walker.  Wait for its legs to flash a blue
light and attack them.  The middle pod will drop, making the whole
vulnerable.  Attack it and repeat the process until Tails emerges victorious.
Two down - four to go!


**********************************
* VI. Knuckles World Walkthrough *
**********************************

* The object on each level with Knuckles is to find the three shards, using 
  the hot and cold game. *

Begin by going through the farthest door in Station Square (around the corner 
and at the back) to get to Speed Highway, Level 1.

Finding yourself in the hotel, go through the door to the right of the 
elevators.  Climb up the front of the theatre where the rings lead.  Float
over and hot the button on the casino to open Level 2, Casinopolis.

After a cinema, Knuckles arrives at a temple.  Head to the middle for another
cinema with the female echidna and an elder.  Once back in the city, Go back 
to the hotel.  You see Robotnic (Eggman) heading up the right elevator.  Follow
him.  Here Knuckles will fight Chaos 2.  

Returning to the Mystic Ruin, head to the cave nearest Tails' house.  Find the
Silver Claws and dig in the dirt under the Robotnic hologram to get a cylinder
item.  Carry the item over to the caged monkey and sit it underneath.  The cage
will explode, and the gate will open.  Exit with the item and go to the cave 
near the train station formed by falling rocks.  Carry the item all the way 
through the cave and to the right in the grassy exit.  Again place it under the
monkey to break him out and open the gate.  Enter for Level 3, Red Mountain.

Back in M.R., head to the lake for a familiar cinema.  Fight Sonic and watch
another cinema.  Prepare Knuckles for Chaos 4 and yet another cinema.

Head to the valley through the minecar tunnel nearest the lake.  Make your way
to Big's tree house.  Climb the tree and glide to the nearby ledge to find the
Gold Claws.  Return to the ledge with the minecar and grab the gold statue.
Take the statue to the back of the temple and place it on its pedestal.  Notice
the still missing silver statue.  To find it, move to the cave near the ladder 
leading out of the valley.  Nearby, there is a corridor in the trees without a 
trail.  Pass through it to find another mound of dirt.  Dig in it to unearth 
the silver statue.  Carry this back to the temple to complete the puzzle.  
Upon placing it in its place, a light shines from between the statues and Level
4, Lost World, opens.

A Cinema leads Knuckles to the crystal shrine.  After rebuilding the crystal,
Knuckles meets E-102 Y.  Head back to the minecar ledge.  Float down to the
temple and walk forward and right to reach the space ship.  Again, Kuckles sees 
E-102 Y.  After boarding the ship, move forward and to the right for a cinema.
Head into the "E" door and into the drained pool.  Continue through the hatch
in the next room to enter Sky Deck, Level 5.  

Returning to the crystal shrine, run forward for a cinema.  Back on the Egg 
Carrier, head the way you came in for yet another cinema.  Continue forward
across the gap to the green-lit platform.  After a cinema, the battle with
Chaos 6 commences.  Use the robots Robotnic drops to the throw in Chaos' mouth.
When he appears frozen, hit him until he is no more.  Halfway home!


******************************
* VII. Amy World Walkthrough *
******************************

* The object of Amy's levels is to grab the balloon at the end.*

Amy begins in Station Square.  Begin by heading through the hotel to the lower
part of the city (near casino) for a cinema with Sonic.  Head back through the
hotel and over to Twinkle Park.  After a cinema, Amy enters Level 1.

Another cinema leads Amy to the Egg Carrier.  Open all the cells to find an
A-Life egg, among other things.   Go through the door to the game room.  Hit 
Sonics and Super Sonics and avoid Robotnics until you reach the high score.  
Go through the door and find the "spell Eggman" game in the next room.  Take 
the egg through the door and warp with it to the Chao island.  Return to the
Egg Carrier and find the three doors in a row.  Hammer the button next to the 
middle one.  Enter Level 2.  

After a cinema, Amy appears at the echidna temple.  Turn around and go through 
the door behind Amy.  Head to the shrine to trigger a cinema with the female
echidna.  Back on the Egg Carrier, head through the "E" door for a cinema.  Amy
is now in the Mystic Ruin.  Head through the tunnel on the minecar nearest the 
lake to the ledge overlooking the valley.  Make your way forward to the lights
and enter the space ship.  Find the "lights out" puzzle and change all Robotnics
to lights.  Go through the open passage to Level 3, Final Egg.

After another cinema, head back out of the ship.  Head all the way back to the 
train station of M.R.  This time, go down the ladder to the boat and get on it.
Yet another cinema follows, leading Amy to her showdown with Zero.  Knock him
into the electic fence to expose the blue bulb in his head.  Once it appears, 
attack it until he is defeated.  You are now 2/3 done!


*******************************
* VIII. Big World Walkthrough *
*******************************

* The object of every Big level is to fish for his pet frog. *

Big starts on his bed in M.R.  After arriving in Station Square, go around the
corner to your right to get a cinema with the frog.  Pick up the car over the
sewer and go down.  Head through the sewer and up.  Go across the glass tunnel
and enter Twinkle Park, Level 1.

Afterwards, an ice crystal will fall near Twinkle Park.  Grab it and head to 
the train.  Ride it to M.R.  Throw the crytal into thecave with the rocks 
lying around it.  Follow it up and brab it again.  Take it to the ice door 
and place it in the pedestal.  Go into the ice cave and get the innertube.  
Keep going forward and climb the ladder.  Level 2: Ice Cap.

Head back out of the cave for a cinema with Tails.  Head to the train station
and ride back to S.S.  After another cinema, go into the hotel and out the 
other door to the pool.  Head around the corner to the beach for Level 3,
Emerald Coast.

A cinema sets up Big's arrival on the Egg Carrier.  Go in the middle door in 
the row of three.  Level 4: Hot Shelter.

Arrive outside by the emerald shrine.  Walk forward to talk to the female 
echidna.  Appearing back on the E.C., step on the yellow panel on the floor 
to call for the tram.  Ride it to the top level and climb up to the green 
platform.  A cinema introduces Chaos 6.  Hit his target with a cast of 
Big's fishing reel.  Walk over to Tails' jet and fly away to safety.  And 
then there was one!


*********************************
* IX. E-102 Y World Walkthrough *
********************************* 

* Each level with E-102 Y has adifferent goal.  Read further for details. *

E-102's quest begins in the Egg carrier.  Walk around the corner to talk 
to Egg Man.  Level 1: Final Egg.  The object of this level is to find and
destroy the three-hit Sonic dummy.  

After completing Sonic's destruction, go down a level and talk to Egg Man.
Fight E-102 B by locking onto him and firing missiles.

After a cinema, E-102 arrives in Station Square. Head through the hotel to
the pool.  Blast the three targets on the gate, dropping it.  Hit the beach. 
Level 2: Emerlad Coast.  The object of this level is to locate Big's frog.

Another cinema leads E-102 to the crystal shrine.  Head forward for a rather
lengthy cinemawith the Chaos, the female echidna, and a return to the E.C.
Head into the right-hand door in the row of three.  Pass through the "Whack-
a-Sonic" game room to the prison.  This triggers a cinema.  Now return to
the main room.  Climb to the second floor of the hull.  Goin the door that 
isnow on E-102 Y's right.  Jump down and grab the Jet Booster. After another
cinema, Go up in the pod in the main room to the deck.  Cinema. Fight Sonic
for another cinema.  

Back in Mystic Ruins, take the boat below the trainstation back to the now
crashed Egg Carrier.  Find and ride the pod down into the hull.  Now go
to the oppositeroom on the second floor.  Grab the new gun.  Return to M.R.
viathe boat.  Head for Tails' house.  Pick up the green crystal and take it
to its pedestal in the cave nearest the lake.  After replacing it, jump into
Level 3: Windy Valley.  The object of this level is to find and destroy
E-103.

After defeating the robot, a cave blows open near the train station.  Go
there andpass all the way through to the grassy exit.  Head forward and 
right to the caged monkey.  Target him and blastthe cage open to also open
the gate behind it.  Level 4: Red Mountain.  The point of this level is to
locate and terminate E-104 E. 

Return tothe Egg Carrier for a cinema.  Head down in the pod once more.  Go
in the middle door of the three this time.  Enter Level 5, Heat Shelter.  To
complete this level, E-102 Y will have to battle E-105 S.  

Return to the deck to trigger another cinema.  Cross the bridge to the green
platform.  Here the final battle of E-102's game commences against E-101.
After targetting himseveral times andblasting away, E-102 Y emerges, only
to have suffered mortal wounds.  Only the final battle remains!


************************************
* X. Super Sonic World Walkthrough *
************************************

After a lengthy cinema, Sonic starts in the M.R. near the lake.  Head into
the cave that was formed by the explosion earlier in the game.  Pass through
and reach the crystal shrine.  Go around the back of it to where Eggman had
crash landed for a cinema.  Sonic will then be at the crystal shrine, but 
the screen will flash red with fire.  Run forward to trigger a cinema with 
several echidnas and Chao creatures.  Chaos arrives.  Head toward the 
enflamed shrine for yet another cinema.  Now head up the stairs of the shrine
to bring on one more cinema.  Sonic is awakened by Tails.  Head all the way
back to the lake in Mystic Ruin.  Go through the mine car tunnel to cause
a CG cinema that is very similar to the opening cinema.  Sonic now stands 
before his greatest threat.  His friends arrive to collect the scattered 
Chaos Emeralds.  Enter: Super Sonic.  Prepare to battle Perfect Chaos.  To 
defeat him, make a mad dash at him.  Super Sonic will fly up inside of him,
bursting out through Chaos' head.  Do this three times, and a short-lived
victory is Sonic's.  Perfect Chaos now returns.  He is more well defended
this time, as he shoots a significant amount of firepower at Super Sonic.
Make sure to avoid it, as a full head of steam is needed to land hits now.
Three more hits, and total victory is accomplished!

* XI. Locations of the Sonic Emblems *
**************************************

* Here is a character by character breakdown of the locations of the
numerous Sonic Emblems in Sonic Adventure. In the case of the levels, the
first emblem is receivedfor completion.  thesecond is for completion with
50 rings.  The third is completion within the amount oftime given at the
beginning of the level.*

Sonic:
3 per level x 10 levels = 30

Tails:
3 per level x  5 levels = 15

Knuckles:

Inside a box in the cannon room.  You must have the wings in the "out" position.
 Shoot yourself out of the cannon and check in the boxes.

* XII. Locations of Special Chao Creatures *
********************************************

Station Square:
Grab rock ingrassy area inside of the wall at the far end of SS.  Carry it 
into the shop with the old man.  Trade it with the egg in the window for a
silver Chao.

Mystic Ruin:
Go down into the lake and push the large rectangle block back into the wall.
This causes an egg to fall from behind the waterfall.  Inside is a gold Chao.

Egg Carrier:
Behind one of thecells in the prison area.  Grab the egg for a black Chao.


********************
* XIII. Chao Races *
********************

There are four different Chao Races in each of three fifferent circuits.  The
first circuit is for advanced Chaos.  Running is required to win.  The second
circuit is for the youngsters, as slow crawling can still win it.  The third
seems to be in-between, as the Chaos crawl, but much more quickly.  The
different shapes represend different courses.  In order to be successful in 
any of these races, you almost certainly have to mix your Chao with one of
the saved animals in the Chao gardens and train him through several quests
on the VMS.


*************************
* XIV. Sonic's VMS Game * 
*************************

The most important options on the VMS game are the first, second, and third
choices at the main menu.  Here are their functions...

1. Chao's status - hit points, flying, swimming, running, strength
2. Food - choose item to feed it to the Chao
3. Matching Game - remember pairs to earn fruit for Chao

These choices will help you on the quest that the Chao walks, swims, climbs, 
and flies through.  The rest of the menu contains items that are not needed
to complete the quest, such as name, blood type, birthday, etc.  Please
see the A-Life FAQ for further details.  

When the Chao comes to a fork in the road, you can pick from three choices...

1. Go one way
2. Go the other way
3. Let the Chao pick

The Chao may also come across treasure chests and battle.  At a treasure, 
pick which chest to open.  At a battle, time the hit so that it lands on the
empty circle.

When the Chao ends his quest, you will get a screen that says "Goal".
