The E3 2011 demo for BioShock Infinite was, to be frank, so incredibly well-received by the press, it helped earn Irrational Games’ third entry in the BioShock series a total of 39 E3 awards from games media outlets. Does the 14-minute reel perchance contain some sort of coded promise of great riches, decipherable only by game critics? Well, everyone's a critic – meaning when the demo makes its public debut in a half-hour Spike TV special, you'll be able to assess it for yourself. In the meantime, here's a two-minute teaser… for the upcoming full-length teaser.
The full-length demo, with the same HD footage that was shown behind closed doors to games journalists and industry professionals at E3 2011, will be screened during a special presentation of Geoff Keighley's GameTrailersTV on the evening of Thursday, July 7. Irrational Games’ co-founder and creative director Ken Levine will also appear in new interview about BioShock Infinite immediately following the broadcast. Will you be watching?
