BioShock Infinite - New trailer introduces the beasts of America

Since the day it was announced in August of 2010, BioShock Infinite has been one of the most anticipated games in existence. However, while its release date is just four months away, developer Irrational Games has shown very little of the title this year. That changed this morning with the release of a new trailer that's packed with gameplay over a stirring song. Watch...

An impressive trailer to be sure, and it makes a point of telling viewers that the footage is all in-engine, perhaps to countering some worries that the game has been suffering from development troubles. BioShock Infinite is still planned for its February 26, 2013 release date--originally the game was to have come out last week--and as you can see at the trailer's end, Infinite will have some fancy collector's editions to accompany the standard release. Are you still excited for it?

That's the game I'm looking forward to the most! From what I've seen I expect imaginative story and world rivaling the original Bioshock's. I can't ask much more from a game.

Lookin' great! Super excited and never have stopped being excited for this game. Also, at the start, is that the lighthouse from Bioshock 1? Maybe tying the series together?

I like how you ask "Are you still excited for it?" as opposed to asking if we're excited for it in the first place. Because it's kind of a foregone conclusion that anybody who's seen it is - or as the question implies, at least has been - excited for it. Now we're all excited again. And painfully so. February absolutely cannot come soon enough.

Good looking trailer. Love the Bioshock series, and this one looks fantastic.

    And it's gooooooooood!
  • Zeos - October 21, 2012 2:43 p.m.

As excited as ever for what I'm sure will be an amazing game.

the special edition looks kind of lame when compared to the bioshock 2 special edition. But then again its hard to top the soundtrack on a record.

Ah, excellent! This trailer is most definitely reassuring, considering the worrying news last week about two of the designers leaving the project. But if this trailer is any indication, it looks like most of the game is already done and ready! It's still a couple months away, but I can have an easier time waiting knowing that the project isn't falling into the Last Guardian and FFXIII Versus category XD

    Dishonored was a Diversion
  • SlowOctopus - October 21, 2012 10:06 a.m.

Hell yeah, I'm still excited! Confirmed goosebumps! The only thing that sucks about this trailer is that nothing else will be good until February.

Can't wait for Infinite! Now that Dishonored is out of the way its time for the next first person, steam-punk, superpowers extravaganza to begin!

I have such an erection right now! That may be a bit much. That was awesome though and makes it even harder to wait.
