The difference between Levine and the guys from Team Ninja : 1. Self-acceptance 2. Honesty

He does seem to be protesting an awful lot. Infinity didn't need to go down the softcore porn route for BioShock 1&2 but they were fantastic games. I wonder if they're expecting Infinite to disappoint in other ways.

    Excuse me, Irrational, not "Infinity."

Most gamers are guys. Most guys enjoy boobs. So the main women has big boobs. Don't question it. Don't judge our morals. It just makes sense. Get over it.

Are most gamers also virgins, and likely to be for a very long time?

This article spoke to me in so many ways. Well, only two ways, but they were enjoyable. On a related note I worked with a girl who looked just like Elizabeth, though she didn't show off as much boobage and unfortunately she got canned :/

    Boobs. That is all.

I never noticed it much either, but right now, I'm afraid of looking at screenshots for this game. This is one game that I want to know as little as possible going in.

    WHERE'S THE ASS!?!?!
  • ObliqueZombie - January 4, 2012 12:02 p.m.

I always thought it was just the corset, which is befitting for the times. I swear to God, the Internet is much too perverted.
  • UberNoob - January 4, 2012 12:31 p.m.

It's all those kids and teens who have overactive hormones. If Levne is really bothered by this, he can always get the character model redone. Just replace the corset dress with something that puts less emphasis on the chest and was relevant to the time period. That should solve the problem.

Hahaha! Levine sounds SO guilty to me XD

"Hey guys, this game isn't about boobs. Stop looking at the character I've drawn here's huge, exposed boobs. Stop talking about books. Stop thinking about boobs. Really, guys, this isn't about boobs. I'll tell you what this game's about later, for now just trust me that it's not boobs."

I spend more time thinking about girl-parts than probably any other human in existence but I never once thought about her chest. Of course I'm not a boob guy either, I like hips, but she has the biggest doe-eyes, like anime-cartoonishly big doe-eyes, how could anyone even find her chest over those eyes? Now that you mention it, she is kind of tit-on-a-stick and it's really disconcerting because she also looks like she's twelve. Now that I'm looking at them, I'm actually disturbed by her boobs. Like I said, I think about girl-parts more than any other human and I find it disturbing to see boobs on a 12-year old. I am not a fan of jail-bait and she is a prison sentence waiting to happen.

I certainly understand what Levine's talking about, Bioshock has never been "that" kind of game. However, when a character is either designed with huge boobs AND a copious amount of cleavage, what do you think male gamers are going to think of? Even the most stalwart of white knights is likely going to be thinking about her breasts. Just reduce the size a little bit or cover a little bit more of them up, and you'll get what you desire, Mr. Levine. As it stands, you really can't complain.

I'm sure it's already been mentioned several times by now but when you're designing a character that you would like to appear like Elizabeth, don't give her a visible breast line. If it's to give her an air of sexiness while appearing sympathetic to the audience, take a page from Valve and do what they did with Alyx and Zoey, that being that the character is designed first to be sympathetic and then tertiarily she will be sexy to the audience because she is relatable and real. Now, I understand that real life women have visible bust lines but that's the trick here. The issue here is that once an average dude is alone, playing a game, and he sees someone like Elizabeth appear on the screen of his game and talk to him and the game wants you to get a connection to her , where do you think his eyes will drift to? I don't know. Maybe I'm overthinking things but honestly, the first thing my eyes went to went I saw that E3 trailer was her face but now that you mention her titty size, I guess I should look at them now huh?

    I like it all.
  • Net_Bastard - January 4, 2012 10:33 a.m.

I actually didn't pay much attention to her boobs in the other pictures of her, but now that you mention it... DAAAAAAAYUM!
