Awesome list. And I've always found it amusing that the monks in RE4 say "Cogelo" as in Mexican slang that literally means "F#$% him."

Altair, Ezio, Connor, and if you must count him Desmond lol.

Someone may want to tell the editors that Mark Ecko isn't the main character of Getting Up.... That guy's name was Trane.
  • einhazard - October 31, 2012 1:34 p.m.

Full name: Coltrane Crowley. Not Mark Ecko.

War from Darksiders is all I've got. I never liked him though.

What about The Hunter? If Mark Ecko's hood makes him a hoodlum, what would you call him if he pounced on you from 30 feet away and started ripping your guts out?
  • einhazard - November 1, 2012 7:02 p.m.

That character is not Mark Ecko. The main character of Getting Up was named Trane.

Jin Kazama when you knock his hood off its over for you.

  • gopikmin - October 31, 2012 7:14 p.m.

You forgot The Batman, the best hooded character of all time.
  • Moondoggie1157 - October 31, 2012 8:36 p.m.

    It's not a hood, it's a cowl... gullll

Am I missing something obvious? Is Ezio not in here for a reason? Because not listing Ezio here seems akin to making a list of best characters with a bald head, a black suit, a red tie and bar code on the back of their head and not mentioning Agent 47.

As it says on the first page, Assassin's Creed is the inspiration for this list so its kind of unnecessary to include Ezio.

    Makes sense I suppose! :0

I remember Marc Ecko's Getting Up. It was actually an enjoyable game.
  • eleventy70 - October 31, 2012 9:28 p.m.

Theresa the fortune teller from fable
  • virofglacies - November 19, 2013 2:52 a.m.

Theresa was on the last page, so that sort of counts, right?
