Ready for more
backstabbing, smoke-bombing adventures? A listing on GameStop's website reveals that Assassin's Creed: Revelations is getting a batch
of new multiplayer locales next month in the form of a Mediterranean
Traveler Map Pack.
Dated for a January 24 release, the
preemptive listing gives few details on what the pack will actually feature. According to its new listing on the Assassin's Creed Wiki,
however, the DLC will be comprised of original multiplayer environments
including Siena, Jerusalem, Dyers, San Donato, Firenze and the Imperial
District of Constantinople. While we might otherwise not care too much about multiplayer DLC for a mostly singleplayer experience, we actually quite liked the competitive side of Revelations, so we'll continue to get excited.
Assuming Ubisoft sticks with the same
price point it's applying to the upcoming Ancestors Character Pack,
players can expect to take Ezio D'Auditore on his Mediterranean tour
for a cool $3.99 on PSN, or 320 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360. If in
fact it does sell for its currently listed price of $9.99, here's
hoping it comes with souvenirs or discounts on local hotels.
As for the aforementioned Ancestors
Character Pack, the first DLC for AC: Revelations will bring four new
characters classes: the Privateer, Brigand, Corsair, and Gladiator.
It is expected to leap out of haystacks and murder players in broad
daylight on December 13.
