There are 250,000 apps available for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. How in the world are we supposed to sort through all of those? Well, lucky for us, a new website has launched which aims to tell every iGamer out there what the heavy hitters are.
The App Hall of Fame is a collective project by folks from all manner of mobile review site who have put together a dynamic list of the best iPhone games available in the App Store. It aims to keep users from the tedious task of searching through hundreds of tic-tac-toe games just to find one diamond in the rough.

The website, with the easy-to-remember address of apphalloffame.com, will induct a handful of iPhone apps every month. Each winner is also accompanied by a full review, a list of apps from the same developer, and other relevant information.
The inaugural inductees are 12 apps, half of which are games:
Angry Birds
Flight Control
Doodle Jump
Plants vs. Zombies
Homreun Battle 3D
Fieldrunners
The other apps that made the list are:
Shazam
Evernote
Simplenote
Twitter
Instapaper
Pandora Radio
While the App Hall of Fame currently only includes games designed for the iPhone, it will later be expanded to add Android titles as well as iPad-spcific apps.
Of course, the other good way to keep tabs on what iPhone games are worth buying is to check GamesRadar all the time for our daily iPhone Game of the Day selections.
